Cruella isn't set to be released until May 2021, but the movie is currently shooting in the UK and now some new set photos reveal what is presumably a first look at Emma Stone's villain before she becomes the classic baddie you see in the officially released promo shot above!
We don't really know much about the film beyond the fact that it puts the spotlight on
101 Dalmations' Cruella de Vil. Given the way
Maleficent has turned that character into an anti-hero of sorts, it remains to be seen whether the same will be said for this version of Cruella.
Directed by Craig Gillespie from a script by Aline Brosh McKenna, Jez Butterworth, Dana Fox, Kelly Marcel, Tony McNamara, and Steve Zissis, Emma Stone plays the titular villainess, while Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry, and Mark Strong are all also set to appear.
