If you've ever been a fan of Winnie the Pooh, it's fair to say you're probably counting down the days until Christopher Robin is released regardless of how old you are. The movie stars Ewan McGregor as the titular character and picks up with him as an adult in 1949 where he's been hardened by his experiences in World War II and is now serving as the efficiency manager at a luggage company.

While his family vacations in the Hundred Acre Wood, he's going to be stuck in London with work and it's then that he receives a visit from Pooh. However, the rest of his childhood toys also eventually show up in the form of Tigger (Chris O’Dowd), Eeyore (Brad Garrett), and Piglet (Nick Mohammed).

Winnie the Pooh, meanwhile, will be voiced by Jim Cummings and it's him who takes centre stage in this cute new Japanese poster for the movie. Needless to say, anyone who was a fans of these characters as a child probably wished they could have shared a moment like this at some point in their lives! Given Disney's stellar record with these live-action movies, this should be something special...

I feel like this film will really hit us 90s kids right in the plums. Most if not all of us have either graduated college, have children, have careers, or have moved on from our hometowns.

And this film looks to explore what adulthood is and how we as adults have forgotten the innocence and fun humanity had when we were kids. As kids we rushed to grow up and move out in feuds with family. Some have had harsh and heartbreaking childhoods and never experienced being a kid.

Toy Story 3 did the same thing with Andy being us and growing up and out of toys. I can't wait for Christopher Robin to remind me that the kid trapped inside of me still wants me to have fun and not work so much and forget that life isnt always about making money.

It's not how I imagined pooh in a live-action, but it sure does have that cuteness it had back in the days

Hope this movie has the balls to pull off the twist ending that Christopher Robin has been a murderous Schizophrenic this entire time.

Disney fails once again, could have got Zak Snyder to direct, then we could have gotten the Eeyore cut.

Not Comic Book related (Neither is this Pooh article) but Netflix has tapped Idris Elba to direct and STAR in their adaptation of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'.

My most anticipated movie of the year other than Infinity War, only because of my love of seeing Winnie the Pooh again.
