HeyUGuys managed to catch up with Benedict Cumberbatch at the 2014 British Independent Film Awards, and were quick to ask him how he feels about being cast as Doctor Strange. He obviously can't say too much (and is likely already fed up with being asked), but these are the first comments from the British actor since he was officially announced as being Marvel Sorcerer Supreme.

Who said they were skipping Strange's origin? Doesn't the official synopsis talk about his car accident?

@people saying that it is not an origin story, back when Marvel had their "Phase 3" Presentation Feige went on and have a very brief synopsis for Dr.Strange where he mentions the car crash and how it is a downward journey for Stephen Strange...
