ETERNALS: Thor And Spider-Man Show Up In New TV Spot For Marvel Studios' Next Adventure

They're not actually in the movie, of course, but both Thor and Spider-Man do make an appearance in this latest TV spot for Marvel's Eternals, which also features some action-packed new footage.

We're now just ten days away from the release of Eternals, and Marvel Studios' has debuted another TV spot which features a couple of familiar faces.

Much of the movie's marketing has leaned into the Avengers connection, and this promo finds Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) name-dropping both Thor and Spider-Man as we get a brief glimpse of the aforementioned heroes in action. The rest of the 30-second spot includes snippets of exciting new footage, as we see Thena (Angelina Jolie) take great delight in dispatching one of the monstrous Deviants.

The review embargo for Eternals lifted over the weekend, and while the movie hasn't been negatively received by any means (it currently sits at 71% on Rotten Tomatoes), the reactions have been a little more mixed-positive than usual for a Marvel Studios film.

We'll be bringing you our thoughts on the Chloe Zhao-directed movie later in the week, but for now, check out this new TV spot below.

Marvel Studios’ Eternals follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

The outstanding ensemble cast includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
