Harry Styles Breaks Silence On Joining The Marvel Cinematic Universe: "It Was A Great Experience"

In late October, a Variety reporter who had attended the Eternals world premiere confirmed rumours that Harry Styles would appear in the Marvel Studios movie. The singer turned actor briefly showed up in the mid-credits scene as Thanos' brother Eros/Starfox, a character who could be key to what comes next for these immortal heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Eros knows how to communicate with the Celestials and where Thena, Druig, and Makkari can find Arishem (who took Sersi, Kingo, and Phastos from Earth). Beyond that, though, it's easy to imagine Starfox being someone who makes his presence felt across multiple MCU franchises.

During a recent interview with Daze, Styles opened up on his brief Marvel Studios experience.

"I’m only in right at the very end," he points out, "but who didn’t grow up wanting to be a superhero, you know? It was a great experience and I’m so grateful to have gotten to work with Chloé."

Styles probably didn't bank on his MCU debut being in the franchise's first Rotten movie, but fans are definitely on board with his take on Starfox and keen to see more. The character is likely to return for the Eternals sequel, and the first movie's writers have already strongly hinted that the follow-up would explore Titan, Thanos' origin, and how Eros factors into that (we're guessing their father, A'Lars, will be key).

Eternals is now playing in theaters. Check out our Easter Egg breakdown by clicking here

I thought star fox was a bad idea to be Thanos brother in the comics, I’m not convinced it’s a good idea in the movies. He should have just been not related to that purple dude. But oh well, I’m sure he will be good.

@dragon316 Did you really just confuse/equate Dunkirk with Pearl Harbour? Both horrific but on entirely different scales. 17,000 people lost their lives on the beaches of Dunkirk. Roughly 2,000 at Pearl Harbour
