CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other fighter/s can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which happens regularly in the comics and movies). Fights may consist of individuals, duos or teams.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have adaptations in any form of comics AND movies.

The Goal of CBM FightClub is to encourage a healthy discussion between passionate like-minded individuals. It is an avenue for seasoned "geeks" to impart knowledge to "noobs" to the world of comicdom, by best describing characters through their powers and skills set. All comments are highly welcomed using the comment section, though we hold premium those who are able to respect other's opinions.

Colossus vs Solomon Grundy: like a great many of DC's "power hitters," Grundy's strength level fluctuates so greatly from one writer to the next that the only thing I can think to do that would be completely objective is to aim for the middle, which I think would put him right round Thing-level. As such, while he'd be stronger than Colossus (I'm not counting Juggie-Colossus -- he's not going to be like that forever), I think Colossus' steel skin will give him the advantage. Granted Grundy's a zombie and can't be permanently put down, but who says Colossus is going to hang around and wait for that to happen? Colossus by knock-out.

Neo vs Wolverine: I despise the character Wolverine has become. But Neo has no powers outside of the Matrix, and since Wolvie can't be jacked in, they'd have to fight in the real word. Neo stands absolutely no chance.

Blade vs Ra's Al Ghul: save for his limited "immortality," Al Ghul is a human level fighter. Blade is superhuman; stronger, faster, more agile, better armed, impervious to conventional infury and more lethal. Incidentally, Batman would have, and should have, lost this fight too.

Im with you on 2 of the 3 fights LoudLon. Wolverine takes Neo in a quick very easy fight. Blade wins but it takes a bit to beat Ra's. But I think Grundy beats Colossus. The main reason I say this is because Grundy (most of the time) is Superman level strength and is not always completely mindless. Colossus is tough smart and a great fighter but I just think Grundy is more then he can handle.

Reading back over my post above I seem to have left a sentence out of it; doesn't make a lot of sense LOL

What I was trying to say was that whereas Colossus has steel skin, Grundy, while highly durable, is still just skin and bones. I think ultimately Grundy will be the one who takes the most damage and subsequently falls. Granted he'll rise again later, but Colossus, having already won, likely wouldn't be around to see it happen.

I don't know if its been done but i'd like to see Transformers Devestator vs a Sentinel...

As for these bouts, i think Wolvey, Solomon Grundy, and Blade take care of bussiness..

I really haven't been on these topic boards for awhile.. Are u still taking suggestions or did u stop that?

Or Marvels Hyde vs Grundy?
Namor
Namor - 8/17/2012, 8:27 AM
yes, but don't they have to be in a movie or on T.v? In that case, marvels Hyde has yet to be in either, so i went with LOEG's Hyde..

How did Neo win against Superman? Much like the last movie, Neo would die.

I echo the same sentiment about Neo beating Superman, unless they had some creative way in which Neo was allowed to carry his power outside of the Matrix (which makes no sense), or somehow Superman's consciousness was transferred into the Matrix.

Also, that team battle is such a cluster that I wouldn't even bother thinking about it. The only way I could even try to predict the outcome is if I could linearize each team to 1 on 1 battles, but even then, that's like predicting a whole tournament.

I agree with @loud, except I have team Marvel, but more importantly, Ghost Rider for the team-battle...
