CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights are first meeting chance encounters - no prep time.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other character can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which also happens regularly in the comics and movies) but before you write out the "weaker" character try to think of possible ways this character can beat the more "powerful" opponent. Again the comment section will be helpful in this.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have both been given life in comics AND movies.

Wonder Woman destroys Sif. Ozymandias is too intelligent, and he is a super super super-solider compared to Captain America.

Zatanna got some powers but I think Thor takes it, unless anyone has any decent arguments?

O don't wanna hear that "Ozy is so smart" bullshit...cap can throw much heavier things at the Oz-man. I know, might isn't everything, but upon first meeting, without studying Cap at all, Ozy is low man on the totem pole here.

@BCZ - Well he is so smart. And intelligence actually does go in his favor. He also fights Nite-Owl and Rorsch at the same time. And Dr. Manhattan could not stop him with all his might.

My heart screams Sif but my common sense says wonder woman.

One note though, Sif has a very powerful seldom used in the comic ability to transport light years in the blink of an eye. Utilizing this it would be a different fight. But since it is so obscure of a power I'm electing to ignore.

Ozzie, for God sakes he snatched a bullet out of the air. Capt. America can't come close to those reflexes. Again against my heart but Ozzy wins.

Thor, Zatz easy on the eyes but no God.

Once again, great choices. Provocative, one red glove up!

Sif vs Wonder Woman: Sif. WW may be way stronger but Sif has a millenia of combat experience at her disposal and one seriously sharp Asgardian sword. WW's gonna have her work cut out for her just trying to keep up.

Cap vs Ozy - Cap. Ozy may be physically perfect, but only for a man his size; Cap's the pinnacle of human ability, period. And while Ozy may be a genius, it took him twenty years from the time he first had an idea to trick the world to when he actually executed it. Gotta be a lot quicker than that when it comes to strategy to take on a guy who's constantly thinking a dozen moves ahead in a fight. Cap would mop the floor with the guy.

Thor vs Zatanna -- Za-who? I have no working knowledge of that character, so I had to refrain from voting on this one.

Sif vs Wonder Woman: Wonder Woman. She's stronger and faster by a significant margin, and has more options at her disposal as well. In terms of skill, they should be evenly matched.

Captain America vs Ozymandias: Captain America. Even if Captain America was without his shield, I would still give him a slight edge, though it could go either way. With his shield, however, Ozymandias stands no chance.

Thor vs Zatanna: Thor. He's vastly superior in all fields but magical skill. Zatanna needs to get in a lot of hits to do anything, Thor only needs to get one in order to finish the fight.

Wonder Woman, again strength and speed take it. fighting abilities should be about the same.


Oz, I dont know alot about the character, but I do know this, they are both master strategists, both at peak physical condition, both expert combatants. Cap does have his shield, but if Oz can catch a bullet, he can easily catch that flippin shield! If he is that fast, Cap wont be able to keep up. You dont see him catchin crap...he just hides behind his snow sled. The intelligence does help also. Just like us Bat fans, Cap doesnt beat everybody.


Thor, Zatanna could pull some crazy, interesting stuff, but I agree with the previous post. One strike is all it would take.
