-The fights does not need to be DEATHMATCHES, incapacitating the other fighter/s can be considered a win.

-Fights may consist of individuals, duos or teams.
-Eligible fighters are characters who have adaptations in any form of comics AND movies.

The Goal of CBM FightClub is to encourage a healthy discussion between passionate like-minded individuals. Versions: Comics vs Movies

-No wrong or right answer here, just preference on who you think is the better character.
-Base it on the character's design, powers and skill sets, character traits and personalities, anything that you can differentiate between the two.
-And because this is CBM FightClub who do you think will win in a fight between the comic version and the movie version.
BATMAN

Thanks guys! See you in the next installment of CBM Fight Club.

Supergirl beat Thor? What's next? Wonder Woman's going to beat Galactus? Catwoman's going to kick Ghost Rider's ass? You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

Black Widow vs Steel: Steel. All the 9 mils and karate kicks in the world aren't going to help Widow against a guy who can bench press semis and whose armor deflects bullets.

Iron Man vs Martian Manhunter: the always under-appreciated Manhunter would beat Iron Man like a rented mule. As far as I'm concerned, MM could beat Superman if the mood struck him, though I'm sure someone's going to make me pay for saying that.

Parallax vs Thor: Parallax can project all the fear he wants and do his damnedest to twist Thor's mind, but the simple truth is that Thor ain't afraid of shit, and he's far more resistant to telepathic manipulation than most heroes. Kind of a perk that comes with being a god. Parallax tries his fear projection silliness, Thor quips "Bite-eth me" and lightning-zaps Parallax's smokey ass from one end of the Milky Way to the other.

Supergirl beats Thor...puh-lease.

Comic Batman vs Movie Batman: as great as Christian Bale was, the Comic Bats would kick the movie version's ass so hard he'd burp farts for a month. Even if it is compltely illogical even in the world of comics that comic-Batman could master 127 forms of martial arts. But that's another discussion...

I also agree with @Loud, except I am one who voted and believe that Supergirl would take Thor...Simple reason being Odin wouldn't let him use Mjolnir...without his flight and weather manipulation, Kara could easily freeze Thor...end of match...

LoudLon Supergirl beating Thor is still not as fùcking retarded as Hulk, Batman, and Neo beating Superman.
LoudLon
LoudLon - 10/11/2012, 12:39 AM
@rotten -- it's not like Odin would step in if Thor were to use Mjolnir on Supergirl. Thor has already earned the right to carry Mjolnir; that was established some 45, 50 years ago when Thor first arrived in Marvel comics. It's not like Odin loaned him ten bucks and said "But you have to use it for gas, not cigarettes." Even when Thor has been in the wrong he's been able to use Mjolnir as he sees fit. He's fought Captain America with it, for Pete's sake. If Odin can "allow" that, he can "allow" Thor to fight Supergirl with it.

@Martian -- I agree on all counts except when it comes to Hulk, who I think after a very, very long fight would eventually win by KO. But Batman? He never should have beat Supes even if he did have a Kryptonite ring (mind you I'm stifling laughter as I type that). And Neo? He's not a comic character, so I don't count him in these things anyway.

Due to supes vast amount of powers, he could beat the tar out of hulk before he realizes he's in a fight. Speed blitz and hulk is done. Even at some of his angriest moments his strength isn't on par with supes.
LoudLon
LoudLon - 10/11/2012, 11:48 AM
Hulk's no easy knock-out, though; even in a calm state he's pretty much invulnerable and has taken hammering from the likes of Thor and Silver Surfer, both of whom are capable of moving at light speed, and both of which only served to piss him off. Plus he heals instantly and, one writer slip from time to time aside, is nearly impossible to render unconscious, either from a blow or through gas. Really Hulk's only weakness is that he can be telepathically manipulated, but since Supes isn't a telepath...

And as vast as Supes' power is, his power is still finite. It has a limit. Hulk's doesn't. There will come a point in the fight where despite Supes' attacks, Hulk's might will surpass him. And you think Doomsday kicked Superman's ass...

Doomsday and Supes fight was back and forth the whole time. It was never Supes just getting drilled. No matter what, hulk has a a limit, he just cant keep getting angrier and angrier till the end of time. But lets say that happens, supes ability to multiply his abilities power just by basking in the sun would be relatively the same as hulks growing anger. Superman's powers are definitely not finite.

But we'll have to agree to disagree friend. Btw hulk stands no chance to doomsday.

Kinda explained that like an idiot, i was a little distracted while i was typing. But you get my point.
