With the announcement of a Justice League movie coming up, there already talk about Man Of Steel being the introduction of the DC universe on film, but we also heard that maybe the JL movie will be in it's own universe. What I would like to see, is a shared universe. Instead of jumping to a JL movie after MOS, they should go with the World's Finest.
Why would WB benefit form a Batman/Superman movie:
-With Chris Nolan name attache to MOS, I'm pretty sure it will do good at the box office and with Snyder directing and Goyer/Nolan on the screenplay it will also be critically acclaimed. This will bring Superman popularity back among mainstream audience. Now team him with THE most popular DC and maybe comic character. You can only win with this recipe.
- WB will see how mainstream audience reacted to a DC team up movie without potentiality ruining future DC movie like Wonder Woman or The Flash.
- It will make the JL movie easier to swallow for general public.
- People will like the dynamic between the two charters and will want to see that again in JL.
- Will introduce the new Batman with more space time than in a JL movie.
What could be the story:
Ok so this part is more fan fic, and since I don't know how MOS will end (well he will win, but I mean the setting), this his just speculation.
The plot could be that Superman just revealed his power to the world following the event of MOS. Batman see this and his scared that someone can be this powerful, so for the first time he stop just caring about Gotham and think of the entire world. He decide to investigate that super man. This will also please fan who want to see the more detective side of Batman. So Batman would go to Metropolis, this would be a good time to also introduce another thing that is missing to the Bat on film, that is a master of disguise.
A disguise Bruce wait in Metropolis. Some robbery or something like that could happen, Sups come and save the day. Bruce fallow him, with a tracer or something like that and find out his true identity. But he notice is not alone fallowing the Man of Steel. The main antagonist think is a treat to the country and the world and want to bring him down.
Amanda Waller. She also want to use Superman for the war America are in. Batman search Clark house, he see the agent of Waller that fallow him and lose him in a chase on roof top. He then go to Smalville and find the spaceship. With that we find the localization of the solitude and learn about Krypton, but he didn't notice that Waller pic back is trace and fallow him there. Now both Waller and Batman know how to take Superman down. There will be a fight between bats and Sups, because Superman will think Batman is the one trying to take him down.
After they will team up against Waller and her team, maybe like team 7. Deathstroke could be a member.
So that could be the basic plot, I know iv put the focus more on Batman. But that would only be in the begging. The fight between the two should take place just before the middle of the film and the rest focus on the team up and both learning to work together and becoming "friend"
