99% of the public was amazed with the Dark Knight and thought it was the absolute best Bat-film ever. I agree. But with so much success the film has received, how can the 3rd Bat-film deliver? If it it doesn't deliver as much as the 2nd, how should the public react?

Well, Spiderman 2 was undoubtalby the best Spidey-film ever, and the public was so pumped for a 3rd film bigger and better than the last. Now I'm not saying that's not bad, but when a director climbs to the "tippy-top", it's nearly impossible to go further than that. So when the public saw Spiderman 3 and it wasn't what they expected, some denied the very existence of Spiderman and called it a complete failure.

Now I agree it wasn't the best Spidey-film ever, but from a director's standpoint, it's hard to make a sequel better than the last, which puts an enormous amount of pressure on that director.

Conclusion: Give Chris Nolan a little space, don't get all hyped up to the point of being critical or judgemental, expecting it to be better, especially if the 3rd film does come out. It's tough for even the best directors to make a more than perfect film after making the perfect film.

And if the 3rd Bat-film doesn't beat The Dark Knight and live up to your expectations, just take a deep breath and say: "You know what, even though it wasn't what I thought, they(Chris Nolan and Chris Bale) they gave it their all to make the fans happy. Despite the enormous amount of pressure that was placed on their shoulders, they gave the best shot they could, even though it didn't exceed my expectations".

Hope you all enjoyed this, thank you for taking the time to read this long article I made. Please comment.
