Edgar Wright's live-action adaption of 'Ant-Man' is Marvel Studios next franchise to be put on the big screen. The talented director of such cult classics 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Scott Pilgrim versus The World' definetly has been grinding the gears to make this movie and it looks like he is 1 step closer.
After a second draft of a script (Marvel initially approved of) has been delivered to the main office, people are wondering exactly HOW a "Ant-Man" film could possibly work on the big screen? Well, with the help of a couple of leaks, we know the movie will be a mix of over the top "CBM Action" meets a "Techno Spy Thriller" allegedly. Which, if you use a little imagination could be pretty cool and definetly original. The director and script seems set.. all we need are a few actors and I have a good idea on who i want to play what.

ANT-MAN/Henry Pym: Matt Damon (The Bourne Franchise, True Grit)
This casting makes the most sense for me. For such an odd concept of a superhero, the casting of a mega star like Damon would be the safest choice to give this film instant credibility. He also fits the age, looks, brains and personality for "The Scientist Supreme".
WASP/Janet Van Dyne: Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, Sherlock Holmes)
Beautiful and loaded with personality. She is a perfect fit in my opinion. Very underated actress who can go from "airy sweetheart" to "cold b!tch" in 2 seconds. Just like Janet.
Baron Von Strucker: Jason Isaac (The Patriot, Harry Potter Franchise)
Isaac's will be a big part of this film tying into a certain Captain America. As creator of A.I.M. during WW2 he answers only to "HYDRA Supreme" Baron Zemo who remains in the shadows. Energy from the Cosmic Cube made him age extremely slow. It's ok to take a few liberties if they work. ;)
M.O.D.O.K./George Tarleton: Rainn Wilson (The Office, Super)
Hell Yeah. Spies ripping off Pym's work and HYDRA assassins sent to kill him will all be ordered by THIS guy. Wilson will own MODOK like Reeve's owned Superman.. nuff said. ;)
Monica Rappachini: Caterina Murino (Casino Royale, The Garden of Eden)
A.I.M.'s "Scientist Supreme". She will be the head brain that engineered M.O.D.O.K.
Clay Quartermain: Patrick Wilson (Hard Candy, The Watchmen)
Wilson should play Quartermain in this. He can be like a watchdog over the experiments Pym is doing and in truth be a bodyguard as well. One of the highest ranking members of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Evelyn Necker: Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Live Free or Die Hard, Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
If you don't know who Necker is, I suggest you look her up. Her character will be so multi-dimensional in this role as Pym's assistant, that I will just leave it up in the air. Winstead is hot and has a good relationship with Edgar Wright so she gets the part.
ULTRON: Alan Tudyk (I Robot, 3:10 to Yuma)
Tudyk was cool as SONNY which is why i'm giving him this role. Ultron could be acivated in desperation by Pym to help against A.I.M. even though the android wasn't "ready yet". Ultron eventualy helps for awhile, until it learns at a geometric rate and forms a "Ghost". It then turns on it's maker and disappears. Setting up The Avengers sequel.
NICK FURY
Fury will help solidify the MCU in this film. Since Pym is a Scientist of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury will supply agents and even himself in the battle against A.I.M.
