Sypnosis
1 Year after the murders committed by Harvey Dent and the devastation by the Joker, Batman has been hunted vigorously ever since by Gotham PD led by his ally Commissioner James Gordon. Batman however, has still stuck to the task of fighting crime in Gotham and has been following the murders of Gotham Police Officers and mobsters on the different Holidays throughout the year, beleived to be killings by Batman. Sal Maroni, who his attack by Harvey Dent/Two-Face, hires an the Edward Nigma to deduce the true killer, knowing it not to be Batman. Nigma stmbles across Batman's real identity while tracking the killer and after losing his job at Wayne Enterprises when Bruce Wayne and Lucis fox took over, seeks revenge by kidnapping Commisioner Gordon and his daughter, Lucius Fox and Sal Maroni leaving dangerous riddles for Batman to answer in order to find kidnapped.
Notes
The Holiday killer is actually the son of Carmine Falconi who is hired by the Penguin (who is mentioned at the end of the movie when Batman captures the Holiday killer) to kill all non-corrupt officers and mobsters so he and Penguin can takeover the underworld.
There will be an appearance by Harley Quinn who is a Psychologis at Arkum Asylum who is in liazon with Gotham PD on the Holiday killer. She also mentions that she is going back to Arkum soon to try and help the Joker.
Gordon has the Holiday killer and Batman as seperate killers leaving tension between himself and the Police Force who believe it to be Batman.
There will also be a reference to LexCorp by Nigma who worked there before being hired away by Mr Earl to work for Wayne Enterprises in the Weapons department.
Wayne Manor is half built at this time, the west wing (Batcave lies underneath it) and main building are fully built. The Batcave has undergone some changes, it now has computers, stores the new tumbler and bat-pod, and also the batsuit.

Bruce Wayne / Batman - Christian Bale
Since telling Gordon to take the blame for Dent's murders, Batman has been hunted down with avengance by Gotham Police, but has also been tracking down a mystery killer that has also been blamed on Batman. This "Holiday" killer kills straight cops and Mob bosses. Batman also has to deal with the threat posed by the Riddler, who detects Batman's true identity and kidnaps Fox, Gordon and his daughter and also Maroni.
James Gordon - Gary Oldman
After starting the hunt for an innocent Batman, Gordon has been trying to slowly bring back trust to Batman by starting a seperate hunt for the Holiday killer, with Gotham PD believing Batman to be the killer. He is kidnapped by the Riddler whilst picking up his daughter from school.
Lucuis Fox - Morgan Freeman
Still CEO of Wayne Enterprises, he provided Bruce with a new lighter Tumbler bt is captured by the Riddler after firing Edward Nigma when he was appointed CEO after William Earle.
Edward Nigma / Riddler - Johnny Depp
Edward Nigma was scientific genius hired by Wayne Enterprises from LexCorp to improve Wayne Enterprises weapons division. He was fired when Lucius Fox became CEO and became a private investigator and is hired by Sal Maroni to detect the Holiday killer. When he finds out Batman is Bruce Wayne, he begins to haunt Batman kidnapping, Gordon and his daughter, Fox and Maroni leaving riddles for Batman to follow.
Alfred Pennyworth - Michael Caine
Bruce Wayne's truted butler, he helps Batman work out the riddles to find Gordon and Fox. He is also overseeing the completion of Wayne Manor.
Alberto Falcone - Liev Schreiber
The son of Carmine Falcone, Alberto has returned to Gotham City to claim the family's Mob back fom Maroni. He is working with the Penguin (off-screen) to take over Gotham's underworld and is the Holiday killer, killing all the non-corrupt cops and mob bosses to set up a Gotham undet their rule.
Sal Maroni - Eric Roberts
Survived the car crash caused by Two-Face, he now walks with a limp and a walking stick with a gold question mark atop. He hires the Edward Nigma to find the Holiday killer after a hit is taken at Maroni but his pressure on Nigma causes Nigma to kidnap Maroni along with Lucius Fox and Gordon.
Jonathan Craine / Scarecrow - Cillian Murphy
After escaping from Blackgate Penitentiary when the Joker attempts to escape, he is hired by the "Irish" to put fear into the the Gotham underworld to find out the Holiday killer after their own people used the drugs on themselves and became insane.
Joe Murphy - Colin Farrell
Leader of the "Irish", a mob crew descendants from Ireland, he hires the Scarecrow to put fear into the Gotham underworld and get information from them as to the identity after the Holiday killer attempted to kill him.
