DISCLAIMER FOR DISCLAIMER: I really didn't want to do this but because of some experience doing these things..... I just got to.
DISCLAIMER: This is not real. This will never end up on actual film. These are my personal choices for the cast of a "Batman Beyond" film, so be kind and enjoy.
Bruce Wayne
Michael Douglas
Douglas is one of my favorite actors ever and I think he would make an awesome old Bruce. In the film Bruce would've been out of the game for 25 yrs, so if you figure Bruce quit when he was 45, that would put old Bruce at 70 which is close to Douglas' actual age of 68. Douglas is an actor who gives everything he has into a role and gives such great powerful performance, and along with looking like the Bruce of the show, if you look at old pics of Douglas froms movies like "Wall Street" and " Basic instinct" he actually looks like he could've played Batman in his younger days.
Terry McGinnis
Alex Russell
We all know Russell from his role in the film "Chronicle" and his performance in the movie is the key reason why think he could play Terry.
Not only does he have the acting chops to play the Batman of the future, but he also has the right look for the role. He's 26, but could pass for 17 and he has that heroic feel to him. I have know doubt he could be Terry.
Mary McGinnis
Katherine Keener
Keener is a wonderful actress whose played similar roles as the worried mother of a teen so I think she'd be good in the role.
Warren McGinnis
Bill Paxton
What can I say about Paxton that hasn't been said before? He's just an amazing actor who've I've been a fan of for yrs . The role of Warren McGinnis is a short one ,but is very integral to the mythos of the show and bill would just knock it out of the park like he does all his roles.
Matt McGinnis
Jonathan Morgan Heit
Heit is a kid actor whose had appearances on a bunch of shows and was in the film "Bedtime Stories". Heit has the look of the character and has a lovable quality to him so I think he'd do well.
Dana Tan
Malese Jow
Jow is a 22 yr old Asian American actress could be seen in such things as "The Vampire Diaries", "Big time rush", and "The Social Network". The role of Dana tan was very hard to cast because to be honest there are not that many Asian actresses in the business that are in the age range I was looking in, but then the other day I was watching "The Social Network" on T.V and thought she was very beautiful and quite a good actress. I think she'd do the role justice.
Maxine "Max" Gibson
Kylie Bunbury
Bunbury is a Canadian actress who doesn't have too many titles to her credit, but her role in the show "Twisted" has impressed me so far, so I wouldn't be opposed to her playing the part, and it does help that she looks the part.
Nelson Nash
Grey Damon.
The character of Nelson Nash is essentially a flash Thompson rip-off so I decided to use an actor who I was gonna use in my Spider-man Fan fic for Flash. Damon could be seen in things from "Friday Night Lights" to "True Blood. He's big, charming, and has the qualities to play a guy like Nash.
Barbara Gordon
Sela ward
When casting for Gordon I didn't wanna go incredibly old so as not to make light the age gap between her and Bruce, so I went for someone in her mid fifties who would be believable as an authority figure and looks like she could've been Batgirl at one time. Ward is a fabulous actress whose credits includes a bunch of television and film work, most recently being "CSI:NY. I think she would bring something very real to the part.
Sam Young
Joe Morton
Young is the Gotham City District Attorney and Husband of Barbara Gordon. Morton is an actor whose been in and out of the spotlight for yrs and could most be remembered from movies like "Speed", "Blues Brothers 2000", and.........T2:JUDGMENT DAY!!! He's a really cool guy and a good actor, I think he'd be on point.
Dick Grayson
Dennis Quaid
Though not in the show, the character of Dick Grayson popped up in the comics as an man who feels bitterness towards his former partner for his relationship with Barbara. Quaid is a fantastic actor who just looks like an aged warrior and I think he would own as Dick.
Tim Drake
Tom Cruise
Yah, that's right. "Return of the Joker" is one of the best animated Batman features in my opinion, and the reason for that is the struggle the character of Tim Drake has to deal with. I know what your thinking "Why Tom Cruise?" well, I chose cruise because he kicks ass. Cruise is THE movie star of my generation and he just brings it every time. In the film Tim is haunted by his torture at the hands of the joker, and he struggles everyday to keep it together and that's why I chose Cruise. Cruise has a history of playing psychologically damaged characters from movies. like "Born on the fourth of July" to "Vanilla sky". It also doesn't hurt that his age of 51 is perfect for playing the character. I realize it might sound crazy to most, but I believe he would be utterly amazing in the role.
Derek Powers/Blight
David Morse
Derek Powers is a ruthless businessman and the super villain known as Blight. David Morse is a wickedly talented actor who could be seen in films such as "Crazy in Alabama", "Proof of life", and "Disturbia".Morse is very tall and very imposing figure, and just looks like a bad guy to me. I think he would make a great Powers but a phenomenal Blight.
Paxton Powers
Matt Bomer
Many people have fan-cast Bomer as Batman but that just wouldn't work to me. He'd be a great Bruce, but I couldn't see him going to that dark place to become the bat, I don't know, I just cant see it. What I can see is Bomer as Paxton powers, the equally ruthless son of Derek powers who later takes over as CEO of Wayne-Powers. Bomer is a great actor who brings such charm and class to everything he does. I don't remember watching him play any villainous roles in the past, so it would be interesting to see what he does with the part.
Mr. Fixx
Tony Todd
This one was very easy for me. Tony Todd is famous for playing big , scary ,imposing men and he just a great actor, I could totally see him as Derek powers right hand man, and the man who killed Warren McGinnis.
Spellbinder
Matt Smith
Spellbinder was one of my favorite villains of the show, he was sort of a futuristic version of Scarecrow, being a psychologist who used virtual reality and knowledge of the human mind to commit his crimes. A while Back when I did my Batman Fan-cast I was actually gonna use Smith for Scarecrow, but for one reason or another I ended not doing that, but I would totally be up for him playing Spellbinder. Smith was an awesome Doctor Who and he's just a great actor all around, I would love to see him in the role.
Terminal
Matt Barr
Terminal was a high school classmate of Terry who led one of the joker Gangs. Matt Barr is little known T.V actor who could be seen in things like "Wildcats" and "Hatfields and McCoy". He is a very likable actor who could be very convincing as the high school socialite and could also go quite dark to play the villainous Terminal, I think he would own the role.
Stalker
Gbenga Akinnagbe
Stalker is a big game hunter with enhanced abilities who chooses to go for the ultimate catch, Batman. Akinnagbe is a fantastic, fantastic, Fantastic actor who I know from his appearances on "The Wire" And "Graceland". He would make such an Awesome Stalker, he's just so real and so smart, he would do great things with the role.
Inque
Maggie Q
Inque is a super villain who has the power to turn her body into liquid. Maggie Q is a very talented actress who currently stars in the CW's "Nikita". I chose Q because of her villainous role in the film "Live Free or Die Hard", a film I actually liked. Inque is a manipulative woman who does whatever it takes to get what she want, and I can definitely see Q playing with that, plus she's really a HOT.
The Joker
Mark Pelligrino
SPOILERS for those of you who don't know, but in "Return Of the Joker", But tim Drake turns out to be the harbinger of a microchip which cause him to turn into the Joker. I had him As the Joker in my first ever Fan-cast, an I figure if it's not broke don't fix it. Best known for playing Lucifer on "Supernatural",Out of everyone on the this fan-cast, I know without a doubt that this guywould be absolutely own this role. Pelligrino knows how to play crazy like nobody else. In the words of Barney Stinson, it would be LEGENDARY.
