So i was watching the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy last night and thought about why they never remade them, the old movies are very awesome, with a good mix of action and comedy, i think a remake would be great, if handled well.

Axel Foley (Donald Glover)
Originally i went with Don Cheadle, but everyone was unhappy, no idea why, he's a great actor. so i changed Axel to Donald Glover from Community, i managed to watch an episode of this show and i thought he was very funny.
Det. William 'Billy' Rosewood (John Krasinski)
since i watched the first movie, i always thought John Krasinski would be a great Billy Rosewood, they guy is extremely funny in The Office and he seems like a great fit in this movie.
Det. Sgt. John Taggart (Adam Baldwin)
i chose Adam because in the original movie, Taggart was a bit of a hardass, Adam fits this role well, as he usually plays a hardass in roles like Casey on Chuck or Jayne on Firefly/Serenity, be he also has a funny side.
Jeannette 'Jenny' Summers (Liv Tyler)
i chose Liv Tyler because i think she is a great actress, although the character lisa isnt on screen that much as the other characters i think Liv would play her well
Victor Maitland (Michael Fassbender)
Michael Fassbender is an awesome actor, his role in Inglorious Basterds was really good, and his Magneto looks badass. i think he could play a great villain
Lt. Andrew Bogomil (Richard Roxburgh)
Richard is an awesome actor, he's done movies like Mission Impossible 2, Van Helsing and recently the awesome Sanctum. so i think he would be good as Andrew Bogmil.
as for a director i think Adam Mckay would be a great Director, He directed The Other Guys, so he is familiar with Action/Comedy Movies.
