Plot: Deadpool's origin is explained in this film adaption as he seeks to take out everyone in the Marvel Universe with the help of his sidekick Bob. Along the way, Deadpool realizes he's losing his touch as he relies way too much on his healing factor. Several characters are also set up for future Marvel films.
Directed by Kevin Smith and Robert Rodriguez
Two directors who have majored in films with cult followings are the perfect duo to direct Deadpool. Fanboy Kevin Smith has films like Clerks and Cop Out under his belt while Rodriguez has Sin City, From Dusk till' Dawn and is a frequent collaborator with Quentin Tarantino.
Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool
While many will disagree I personally think that Reynolds was a great Deadpool for the five minutes he got to play the character. This will be Ryan's return to the role after his role in my X-Force Movie Fan Cast. Opprotunities will be given at any moment for Reynolds to deliver classic quips and one-liners that may be forever synonymous with the Merc with a Mouth.
Seth Green as Bob, Agent of Hydra
Deadpool's sidekick and biggest fan. He thinks Wade is a guy who's got it together, which speaks volumes about how monumentally dysfunctional Bob is. A cowardly young man, Bob was persuaded into joining the criminal organization Hydra by his wife, Allison, who accused him of not being able to hold a steady job. The thought of a stable career with a dental plan also appealed to Bob, though he was disappointed to find out Hydra does not offer full dental. He then joins Deadpool's side with the promise of money and women, those of which he never recieves.
Kate Beckinsale as Lady Death
Deadpool's true love, she appears to him when a normal human would die but due to his healing factor he can only be truly dead for a short amount of time.
Milla Jovovich as Tamara Winters/Domino
A recast fro my X-Force Movie Fancast, Domino is the relunctant love intrest of Deadpool. If anyone could go toe-to-toe with Wade Wilson it's Milla as Domino. Deadpool attempts to kill Domino but he is thwarted in his attempt by a battle-ready Spider-Man.
Sophia Bush as Anna Marie/Rogue
Playing an older version of the character, Rogue is Deadpool's forbidden fruit. Arguably the woman he is most physically attracted to, Deadpool is unable to touch Rogue without consequences. Whetherit be having his powers drained or a vicious beating by Rogue herself. I don't dislike Anna Paquin as Rogue, we would just need an older looking actress for this role because Reynolds coming onto Paquin would feel a little pedo. Note: Older-looking, not older.
Tom Hiddleston as Loki
Replacing Psycho-Man, Loki is the character that brainwashed Deadpool into killing the Marvel Universe by posing as a therapist for Wade Wilson. Lok's intentions were to make Deadpool his slave so he would be able to build an army but instead only made Wade even more insane. Loki ends up being killed by Deadpool only to resurrect himself and vowing to exact revenge on the Merc with a Mouth.
Michael Jai White as Black Panther
Use one of Marvel's most anticipated movies to set up another one of Marvel's most anticipated movies. Michael Jai White would be the perfect Black Panther and the cameo in this movie would set the film up for sure. The Prince of Wakanda is attacked by Deadpool and uses his technology to subdue the mercenary. T'Challa sees his wealth as an invitation to be attacked so he assumes the role of Black Panther.
Alex O'Loughin as Matt Murdock/Daredevil
O' Loughlin has been recognized several times for his acting and after watching the remake of Hawaii Five-0 I have no doubt he could play the blind lawyer-by-day in a cameo in which he gets sniped by Deadpool but will get some good lines before he goes.
Evangeline Lilly as Janet van Dyne/Wasp
An empowered human, Wasp is killed alongside Ant-Man Scott Lang. After her and Ant-Man's death it is shown that the death of the Marvel Universe was simply a fever dream of Wade Wilson before Wade pulls out a gun and shoots the camera, breaking the fourth wall and questioning whether everything that occured really happened. Wasp is also seen in Wade's bed after he wakes up alongside Rogue.
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man
A reformed thief, Scott Lang assumes the role of Ant-Man after Dr. Hank Pym. Scott died after Deadpool repeatedly stabbed him in the legs, causing him to fall nearly 100 feet to his death.
Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America
Deadpool's only kill that could actually set up for a major recast. Winter Soldier is set to take Cap's place so Steve Rodgers could actually die in this film. Not necessarily by Deadpool but it shoudl happen right? Marvel is already planning for Bucky Barnes to be the new Cap anyway.
Willem Dafoe as George Tarleton/MODOK
With the perfect face to capture the emotion of a screaming mad evil genius, Dafoe is my pick for the actor who gets to do the voice and mo-cap for mental organism designed only for killing. Dafoe has been in many moves including Spider-Man, The Boondock Saints and Born on the Fourth of July.
Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Racoon
Rocket recruits a group of vicious racoons in an attempt to kill Deadpool himself. When Deadpool manages to kill the racoons, Rocket attempts to make amends only to be shot in the face. He returns with no explanation in the GotG sequel.
Sean Penn as Dr. Stephen Strange
A human blessed by The Ancient One, Dr. Strange makes a cameo to Deadpool's shock. When Deadpool asks how Strange is present, he responds that he has a movie in the works that will explain it all. Deadpool then recieves a personal call from Marvel to not kill Dr. Strange as Sean Penn is under contract for Phase Three of Marvel films.
Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange
The more likely choice as Marvel will most likely want someone younger than Penn but still with the critical acclaim. Cumberbatch frequently impresses on Sherlock and had an amazing turn as Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness. Benedict has a brooding aura about him that would be perfect to play the Sorcerer Supreme.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler
Alot more promising than his role as Robin, Nightcrawler will be recharacterized as being more true to the X-Men: Evolution series, Kurt Wagner is an engaging person that possesses a special watch crafted by Charles Xavier that allows him to appear human and conceal his true blue form. Kurt has the power of teleportation and enhanced agility. He can also blend into shadows and see in the dark. Deadpool makes repeated jokes about the X-Men continuity, asking Wagner if Mystique is really his mother.
Rebecca Romijn as Raven Darkholme/Mystique
Levitt's a young-looking guy, but I don't think Jennifer Lawrence could pass for his mother. This is why I opted for the older and original Mystique actress, Rebecca Romijin, She eventually shoots Deadpool's head off due to his constant questions about Mystique's nudity, only for Wade to reattach it.
Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau/Gambit
Just hear me out. Whether or not you liked Taylor Kitsch, he said he's not coming back to the X-Men movies so that leaves me with this guy as my option. Alot of people are skeptical about Tatum possibly playing the Ragin' Cajun, but the fact of the matter is that Channing has proven that he can actually act. Tatum has stated he wants this role so why not give someone who's proven he can adapt and make inadequate roles work (see Step Up). So if Channing Tatum wants to play Gambit I say give him a chance because every time we've doubted him, he made us believe. Gambit appears to fight Deadpool until Wade recieves yet another call from Marvel saying they need Channing for future movies.
Let me know what other characters should be in the film and I will do my best to cast them!
