FAN CAST: Batman Beyond

FAN CAST: Batman Beyond

This is my first fan cast, so no bashing please. This is also based off of my Batman Beyond story, so I won't include every BB character (like Joker, Inque, etc). Some of this is original, while others I picked ideas from previous fancasts.

Batman/Terry McGinnis - Emile Hirsch (Speed Racer, Milk)

I know this will generate a lot of questioning, and he probably is slightly too old for the role, but I can't help but see Terry in Hirsch. Plus, he portrays the teenage hero quite well (especially in Speed Racer), so I don't think it'll be much of a stretch here.

Old Bruce Wayne - Clint Eastwood (Grand Torino, Invictus)

There's virtually no question about this. Eastwood has the look and feel of the old Caped Crusader. He would nail the role.

Derek Powers/Blight - Robert DeNiro (Taxi Driver, The Godfather Part II)

I found this one completely by accident. I was browsing on IMBd.com and saw his picture, and he looks like a great Powers, IMO.

Warren McGinnis - Bryan Cranston (Little Miss Sunshine, How I Met Your Mother)

He's apparently the fan favorite for the role, and I must side with the majority. He has the looks that could pin Terry's dad, enough said.

Mary McGinnis - Amy Adams (Enchanted, Catch Me If You Can)

I'm surprised no one has said her for the role yet. She could very easily do the role, and she's a great actress too, so points on that.

Matt McGinnis - Chandler Canterbury (Knowing, Curious Case Of Benjamin Button)

He's a good actor for his age, and he looks the part too.

Dana Tan - Shay Mitchell (Aaron Stone, Pretty Little Liars)

I'm not familiar with her at all, but she certainly looks like she can pull Dana off. Also, casting an unknown sometimes helps.

Barbara Gordon - Julie Andrews (Shrek series, The Princess Diaries)

Yes, I'm aware that Andrews doesn't have THAT much of a similarity to the former Batgirl. But that doesn't stop her from being a good actress, and dye her hair white, she could kill the role.

Bonk - John Cena (The Marine, Legendary)

I'm sorry, but before you tell me to go die in a well, I honestly think the WWE star can do the leader of the Jokerz well. Just give him a shave and paler skin, and he'll seal the deal.

Ghoul - Josh Hutcherson (Journey To The Center Of The Earth, The Kids Are All Right)

This is probably the most controversial choice on this fan cast. Even I am hesitant about this choice, but I know that Hutcherson is a good actor, and that if you give him an emo sort of twist, he could possibly do it.

Dee Dee twins - Emily Osment (Spy Kids series) and Sara Paxton (Super Hero Movie)

This was a tough choice for me, but I found these two actresses while randomly browsing around, and figured if you give them both a menacing feel, they'd do fine.

Chucko - Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side, Be Kind Rewind)

Aaron was actually my first choice for the role (I also considered Jack Black, but that wouldn't turn out well). He has potential for an up-and-coming actor, and I think especially behind the mask of Chucko, he would be good.

Woof - CGI (every movie since Toy Story)

I can't think of anyone to voice him. If anyone has any suggestions, lemme know please!

Well, that's my first fan cast. I know it's not perfect, but I think it'll do. Again, if anyone has any suggestions on alternative choices or anything, sound out in the comments. Peace!

I would prefer Aaron Johnson as Terry McGinnis and Stephen Lang as Bruce Wayne;)

I'm kinda bored of EASTWOOD getting picked all the time and saying he's retired from acting 3 or so years ago...

The rest I like, cool stuff!

@Havok89 I don't know...don't really see Lang as Bruce Wayne. Johnson I'd definitely consider.
@LEEE777 I picked Eastwood because he looks perfect for the part. And I understand his retirement, but hey, you never know what he could do.

@SuperDude001 I just realized that. :P Maybe if they make Cranson look younger and/or Adams older, it might work.
and thanks for the kind words everyone! I never thought I'd cast Hutcherson in a Batman movie without being yelled at. XD

Emile Hirsch is a very good choice. But I ever saw Anthony Hopkins as the old Bruce.
