For years, many have wondered how an Extreme Ghostbusters crew would look like on film. Well, here I present to you my casting choices for this interesting 90's team! Let me know what you think!

Well, here it is! My casting choices for a movie based on the late 90's animated series, Extreme Ghostbusters. Jack Black was the easiest to think of, while Eduardo has always been the hardest. I recently have been able to cast Roland as well. However, the actress for Kylie has been my same choice from the very beginning. What do you all think? Is there better choices you might have in mind?

Long, Black and Dushku has the presence to bring their characters to the big screen, but i dont think Jackson is great choice as Roland?

Still overall good cast. Where is Egon?

Justin Long,Jack Black, Brandon T. Jackson, and Paul Rudd are my choices for a new team of Ghostbusters.

@AlexDeLarge666 I'm guessing Egon not in the list due to him already having an actor playing him.

Absolutely, because Egon was older in the EGB series, he could easily still be played by Harold Ramis, so I felt no need putting in an established character. I loved Brandon's roles as of late, and Tropic Thunder really won me over, lol.. besides Egon though, some other cast choices besides the four essential new ones here had me cast Hugo Weaving as either Samhain, Tempus, or Grundel. I feel if I use the Samhain character it would limit the concept to a Halloween themed film, and the Grundel might work, but he can only be stretched to work himself so far within a movie setting, and to be honest, Tempus was the one of the biggest threats of the EGB says that wasn't carried over from the RGB series.

Gus & BigK1337@ Yeah Harold Ramis is already casted so stupid question.

Gus@ Weaving would be great Tempus! Wasnt he the demon who ruled the world in future or do i remember wrong?

i cant.... i just cant think this would be a good idea. there should have never been a cartoon that wasnt the original. and there sure as hell better never be a movie that isnt the 3rd installment and include the original ghostbusters. its just like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles raping that was TMNT and whatever tv show that was spawned with a girl turtle

Yep, He was the futuristic demon ghost ruler thing, lol.. Glad you agree on that.. and Doug Jones for Samhain? Brilliant! I love that idea! Just the thought of his role as Abe in the Hellboy movies sold me on that idea!

I could see why people out liking it for deviating from the original, but I loved it for carrying the franchise further and the darker twist it had, it was like the Bayman Beyond of the franchise, well, to me.. I mean that in a good way! lol

My wish is for The Flash but with the development hell it's been through lately I'd rather have it put off for an extra year so it's done right
