Alright guys, it has been a little while since I put up my last fancast so I really need to make sure that I posted this now. So without further redo, here is my fancast for The Flash!
Scott Porter as Wally West/The Flash
I had initially wanted Matt O'Leary for Wally, but after some thinking I decided to go with Scott Porter because I felt he could ideally be good in the role.
Tobin Bell as Eobard Thawne/Professor Zoom
Why not?
Eric Christian Olsen as James Jesse/The Trickster
I originally was thinking of Jim Carrey for this, but I decided that Olsen could work. I liked him in Fired Up and he did a good job impersonating Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd.
Kate Hudson as Frankie Kane/Magenta
You may not be familiar with Magenta, aka Frankie Kane, but here is the skinny. Frankie is a former lover of Wally, they went out when he was Kid Flash and eventually she became Magenta, a hero turned villain.
Rachel McAdams as Iris Allen
I had some trouble casting Iris to be honest, I was considering Kirsten Dunst but HELL NO!
Nathan Fillion as Barry Allen/The Flash
Fillion is a pretty cool actor and frankly, he looks like Barry perfectly I think. I cast Fillion because in case I decided to do a prequel to this, I could do a series based on Barry Allen, in which case I could cast Fillion as the star. Since Wally is the star, Barry is just in flashbacks to show Wally's origin.
Shane West as Kyle Rayner/The Green Lantern
This came out of left field, but I felt that since Rayner is good friends with Wally and did not appear in my GL fancast, I figured why not give him a role in this?
Chace Crawford as Eobard Thawne/Professor Zoom (younger)
I needed someone to play a younger Eobard Thawne in a flashback showing him killing Iris, so I ultimately went with Crawford because I felt he would be fine playing the role. Its not even a major role guys!
Dan Benson as Wally West/Kid Flash
Since Wally was Kid Flash at one point when Barry was Flash, I decided to throw in a young actor to appear as a young Wally. I saw Dan Benson on IMDb and I decided he could work perfectly for the role! He looks a lot like Scott Porter!
Ashley Benson as Frankie Kane (younger)
Why not?
Geoff Stults as Hal Jordan/The Green Lantern
I decided to throw Stults as Hal in there as a cameo to offer Wally a spot in the Justice League.
