@MasterSpock It seems your fan-casting based on your knowledge of the show, and not the comics...and because of that, your take on The Flash movie would completely defeat the purpose of having a SEPARATE Flash (Barry) in the DCEU.

First, characters like Joe West (who doesn't actually exist in the comics), Caitlin Snow, and Cisco Ramon just shouldn't be in the movie at all...it makes no sense. Why would you take something original to the show, and then use the same formula for the movie supposedly featuring a different take on the character.

As for the rest of the castings:

Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash - OFFICIAL

Matthew McConaughey as Reverse Flash/Eobard Thawne - Seems like a bandwagon fan-casting to me, besides being the "big budget Tom Cavanugh" it really makes no sense casting him as Eobard, someone closer to comic book Eobard certainly exists.

Danny Glover as Det. Joe West - N/A

Tessa Thompson as Iris West - Again, Iris being black is unique to the show, why re-hash that in the movie?

Channing Tatum as Captain Cold/Leonard Snart - Seems to be a casting based off the rumor

Vin Diesel as Heatwave/Mick Rory - Seems to be a casting for the "big budget Dominic Purcell" as opposed to Heat Wave

Kate Mara as Dr. Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost - N/A

Gael Garcia Bernal as Cisco Ramon/Vibe - N/A

Billy Crudup as Ray Palmer/The Atom - Not sure why he'd appear? But sure?

And the rest are official.

You know, some of @MasterSpock's fan casts make me laugh, like your shitty Ben 10 ones, but a lot of them are really really terrible and shitty and bad. If you're trying to be funny, then you're a [frick]ing comedic genius, but if these are genuine, maybe it's time to stop.

In my mind, McConaughey can only play three roles in the DC films; Maxwell Lord, King Faraday, or Kent Nelson/ Doctor Fate. He just doesn't strike me as a psychotic speedster. He's more of an aloof, sociopathic kinda crazy. Distant, cold, great in public, but just a bit off in private. I'm sure he's a nice guy in real life, but he's just better cold and calculating than manic.
