What do you think? is this a better look? I find that the shield is needed and that the sword makes more sense to be tucked into her side instead of back, since I did notice a small detail on the original pic that her side opposite for the Lasso had a blade holder.

Yeah, I like this. Fantasy artists get a bit obsessed with pauldrons IMO, and these are a little bit overworked, but overall it's good. And hey! No wedges...
