As a classic superhero fan, I didn't like the Hancock story much. But by the end of the film I had respect for the concept, and wondered how I could re-depict the story completely differently. I had lots of other shots I would've liked to have included, but couldn't fit them in, so I got the best shots that would tell the archetypical superhero tale.
The 'Hero' song drove me crazy while editing this, but I liked the use of that song during the Spider-Man trailer, and and wanted to generate the same vibe.
