Fancast: Green Lantern Trilogy (Part 3).

This is my final installment of my Green Lantern trilogy.

First off, I will be making no more Green Lantern fancasts after this. Usually, a CBM movie with a sequel that sucks so bad, that you demand a reboot (e.g. Batman & Robin). As with my previous two fancasts, I want Duncan Jones to direct this.

Anyway, here's the cast:

Heroes:

Chris Pine as Hal Jordan: The Green Lantern of Sector 2814 and test pilot for Ferris Aircrafts, who plans on proposing to his long time love interest, Carol Ferris.

Reason for Casting: I always thought Pine was the ultimate choice to play Hal. The man showed that he can play cocky, yet brave characters in "Star Trek". I was okay with Ryan Reynolds playing Hal, but I think Chris is a better actor.

Mila Kunis as Carol Ferris: The president of Ferris Aircrafts and Hal's love interest, who now knows of his identity of the Green Lantern.

Reason for Casting: Mila has shown that she can play more serious roles in "Black Swan". I prefer her over Blake Lively since I don't think Lively fits the role of Carol.

David Tennant (voice and motion capture) as Tomar Re: The Green Lantern of Sector 2813 and Hal's friend.

Reason for Casting: Again, this is borrowed from SuperDude001, but Tennant would make a great Tomar Re in my mind.

Mickey Rourke (voice and motion capture) as Kilowog: The Green Lantern of Sector 674, a drill sergeant for new recruits, and Hal's friend. He is killed in a battlle with the former Lantern, Thaal Sinestro.

Reason for Casting: Although Mickey's career has been in a slump for awhile, he was rejuvenated with "The Wrestler" (great performance too). He would be excellent as Kilowog.

John Kransinski (voice and motion capture) as G'nort: A member of the corps that resembles a humanoid dog. He is incompetent and generally loathed by all.

Reason for Casting: John was my favorite out of all of the actors on "The Office" (my second favorite being Mindy Kaling). He would be an awesome G'nort.

Noomi Rapace (voice and motion capture) as Boodikka: A tall, red skinned, and aggressive corps member and a skilled fighter. Her hand is served during a battle with Thaal Sinestro.

Reason for Casting: Noomi was absolutely fantastic in the Millenium Trilogy and showed a lot of aggressiveness in the movies. Plus, she has a lovely voice (I would listen to her read out of a phonebook).

Anthony Hopkins (voice) as The Guardians of the Universe: The ancient and wise founders of the corps, who divided the universe into 3600 sectors with one Lantern patrolling each sector. They harnessed the green essence of willpower and put it into a form of a ring. They are responsible for the banishment of Thaal Sinestro.

Reason for Casting: I know that everyone's major complaint about this choice is that Hopkins has already played Odin in "Thor". but Hopkins has a voice and presence that seems dead on for the Guardians.

Villains:

Gary Oldman as Thaal Sinestro: The former Green Lantern of Sector 1417, who was banished to the planet of Qward for his tyrannical rule over the planet of Korugar. He has the weaponers of Qward to create a yellow power ring, similar to a Green Lanterns, but powered by the yellow essence of fear. Using this ring, he plans to take revenge on the Corps, which he was once dedicated to.

Reason for Casting: Oldman is brilliant and would own the role of Sinestro.

Sam Rockwell as Hector Hammond: A petty criminal who comes in contact with a radioactive meteorite. The radiation gives him a heighten intelligence, along with the powers of telepathy and telekinesis. However, side effects of the exposure drastically increases the size of his cranium, forcing him to create a hovering chair since he is now unable to walk and having to communicate telepathically.

Reason for Casting: Rockwell is one of my favorite actors and would be awesome as Hammond. Plus, he has worked with Duncan Jones on "Moon". I know that he has played Justin Hammer in "Iron Man 2" (he weirdly reminds me of Gary Cole in "Office Space"), but he would be awesome in this role. I can't picture Peter Sarsgaard as Hammond, but I can picture Rockwell.

@SuperDude001

Thanks man!! I have a lot of bug bites. As for my He-Man cast, I have now casted Russell Crowe as Man-At-Arms, Michael Fassbender as Stratos, and Seth MacFarlane as Orko. My choice for Skeletor is a surprise.

That's a really awesome cast! I'm not big on Tennant, but this was just great!

Why does it have to be Hal jordan? I mean one of the main reasons why green lantern failed so horribly it's because jordan is a boring character and follows a very generic storyline. We're not needed to see it again. I'd much prefer stewart or Kyle.

Ya know, IMO Danny DeVito or Michael Emerson would make a good Hammond. Maybe Andy Serkis. The rest = A-OK!
