The young Elizabeth Braddock has been hiding her mutant powers for years. She goes through her "normal" life subtly using her precognitive abilities to change the lives around her for the better, always attempting to stay hidden under the radar. She is constantly trying to reach her fraternal twin brother to ask if he, too, has these powers. She puts her telepathic ability to good use when she secretly informs the British Police. She helps them solve the unsolvable. Her cover is blown when Agent Matthew of S.T.R.I.K.E (Special Tactical Reserve for International Key Emergencies) confronts her along with his boss, head of STRIKE, Commodore Lance Hunter.
After intro's and an explanation that she, if she is willing, will belong to a team of psychics and defend and protect Great Britain and it's allies, they gather the other members.
Of note, is Kevin Mulhearn, who was using his talents to con and swindle locals into giving him their valuables.

The team is known throughout the underworld. The Yakuza's deadliest assassin, Kwannon, comes to Great Britain and sends the message around town that she wants the psi-team dead. The message is received when she brutally murders the teams handler, Agent Matthew, and the commander, Lance Hunter, by scalping them alive.
She single handedly battles the team of telepaths. Each member dies fighting. Lennox, Braddock's lover, shields the protagonist from her deadly katana blade at the cost of his own life. At the very moment the blade pierces the gut of Braddock, fatally wounding her, time halts in the middle of her screams. Many well known psychics of the Marvel Universe are shown in great pain and drop to the ground, they are marked by their respective battle gear. We then see the reason.
Professor X, in Onslaught battle armor, is guarding The Shadow King in a prison in the middle of a dark abyss of nothingness. Charles, with his back to the prison, is stabbed by King, who laughs and releases himself from the prison.
Back to the frozen scene of Braddock's imminent death.
Her psychic butterfly travels up the blade and "Braddock" is killed. "Kwannon" backs away from her victim and we realize that they have swapped bodies. Kwannon is now Braddock, only she has retained the skills of the assassin.
Braddock, now bestowed with the prowess of the ninja assassin, Kwannon, as well as her own fighting skills acquired over the years as an agent and her psychic powers is transported to a forest. She is suddenly chased by 12 men who are trying to kill her. She hears laughter, cheers and boos echoing throughout the forest.
In the middle of nowhere, Braddock must evade killers. Soon, it is revealed that she is trying to survive the deadly program of Mojo. He christens her Psylocke. she spends the next year running and fighting for her life.
Somehow, she crosses "TV studios" and winds up with Dazzler and a beat-1/2-to-$hit Angel, of the X-Men. No sooner does she form an alliance with them, the 3 are saved by Wolverine and Havok. Spiral attempts to stop the X-Men from attacking Mojo, but to no avail. Mojo hastily teleports them back to the institute, clearly frightened of a confrontation.
When they instantly arrive back, they speed her up on things (who, what, when...). They immediately begin to nurse Angel back to health but are stunned to fins out Storm has left for Africa in search of her old nemesis, The Shadow King. He has been possessing members of the tribe whom worshiped Storm back in the day. The only way to fight him is to get possessed by him and fight him within your own mind in the astral plane.
They explain that the other X-Men are in Genosha conducting a peace agreement and that Xavier is in Scotland, recouping from the loss of his powers. Havok and Dazzler go to Africa to stop Storm, as there is no use fighting him. Braddock, offers to nurse Angel. Wolverine, not trusting her, stays.
Several days later, Havok and Dazzler cannot be reached by Wolverine. Cut to the Blackbird, in a mangled metal heap of uselessness, on a mountain top. Angel is almost at 100%.
Sabretooth breaks in and makes short work of Wolverine. Braddock beats him in battle.
She probes the savages mind to learn that mutual enemies of the heroes are banding together in order to dissect the team while Xavier is out of commission. Sabretooth is locked up. However, Angel and Wolverine are impressed, not only with her fortitude to stand up and beat Creed, but at her power level as to get through his mental barriers.
She contacts Havok and Dazzler, and finds out they are being held in the Savage Land. She contacts The other X-Men and finds out they are captives in Genosha. She contacts Storm and sees she is in dyer need of help. She is loosing badly, loosing control and dying.
Distraught, Braddock emits a psychic blast throwing Angel and Wolverine across the room. Before the 3 can even stand, Roma appears. She explains that Braddock is a descendent of Gwenivere's child born from either Lancelot or Arthur. Roma is charged with preventing The Shadow King from overpowering Storm completely. If he accomplishes this, then this universe and every other is in danger of being overthrown by him.
She teleports the 3 into the mystical realm of Avalon. While in this realm, all time outside the realm moves extremely slow, say 1 minute equals 1 year. They must find the Crimson Dawn and she must inhale it's essence. Only a descendent of Gwenivere can do so. This is the only way to enter the realm of the Shadow King and fight him on equal terms.
After 1 1/2 years, and dozens of life threatening battles, they find the Dawn and she takes in the essence. Within this time Angel and Braddock have fallen in love. Roma appears and sets them back in the institute. Braddock lay motionless while her mind and sole confront King.
She demands King release Storm and the 2 fight. She wins. Upon his demise, her physical form is marked with the crimson tattoo. Roma tells Wolverine and Angel that they must never allow her to awaken. If she does then the Shadow King will be in control. As of now the two are in an eternal stale mate. This is her destiny; forever comatose.
The 2 X-Men leave her in a "Snow White-like" glass coffin never to disturb the heroine. After a brief moment of silence for a teammate that has endured a life time of hell, that only the 2 of them truly know, they set off to find and rescue their captured allies.
Cut to Psylocke and Shadow King fighting in an abyss of darkness . End
CAST
Gemma Arterton as Betsy Braddock
Actress: Prince of Persia
Why Her: This cast was a request and I chose to go with that person's choice for the hero.

Craig T Nelson as Commodore Lance Hunter
Actor: The Incredibles
Why Him: Not familiar with any of her supporting cast I googled a few pics and matched the characters likeness with the first actor or such to pop in my head. For Hunter, seeing Nelson was instant.
Casey Affleck as Agent Matthew
Actor: The Assassination of Jesse
Why: I think he is a very under credited actor. This would be a fine role for him, different than what I've seen from him.
Desmond Harrington as Tom Lennox
Actor: Dexter
Why: He bares a small similarity to Lennox. I was trying to go with trustworthy actors capable of taking you into this B movie and suspending reality for a few hours. Most of the actors I picked are not high time big Hollywood actors. I liked it better this way. It's a new twist on the same people being picked over and over.
Brittany Snow as Alison Double
Actress: John Tucker Must Die
Why: Although she proved to me, in an episode of L&O: SVU, she can act in a drama, I'd very much like her to duplicate her role in John Tucker. She serves as a great friend to Betsy.
Missy Peregrym as Vicki Reppion
Actress: Reaper
Why: I love her. I think she is capable of so much more and would love to see her in more fancasts let alone movies.
Paul Telfer as Dennis Rush
Actor: Hercules
Why: I almost miscast him as Lennox. Then, auditing the cast, I felt he could play the tough guy/jock/guy that makes others jealous on the team to try and flesh out the team.
Scott Mechlowicz as Kevin Mulhearn
Actor: Eurotrip
Why: Eurotrip was, well, a trip. It was so funny I wanted to cast him in the comedic role of the team. He's the Gambit of the team.
Maggie Q as Kwannon/Psylocke/Betsy
Actress: Nikita
Why: Again, at the behest of another, I went with this choice.
The Shadow King will be pure CGI, his body wouldn't even be pure solid. I hope you can imagine how I see him portrayed, it's freaky.
Doug Jones as Mojo
Actor: Hellboy
Why: His movements as the Angel of Death in Hellboy are exactly what I am looking for
Cam Gigandet as Havok
Actor: Never Back Down
Why: This is a team of X-Men that have been around for about 15 years. They've been through a lot. Havok is a bit younger being Scott's younger brother and Cam seems to be the correct age. I am a fan of his. He's been in a few casts of mine and he's got the right amount of tough for Havok.
Sarah Carter as Dazzler
Actress: Smallville
Why: She blew me away in Smallville and she has this hotness to her that a lame character like Dazzler needs. She was really good in Smallville.
Ryan Kwanten as Angel
Actor: True Blood
Why: I know he's been in a ton of fancasts, but as an older Angel, he is perfect. I don't recall ever seeing him as Angel before though.
Tom Hardy as Wolverine
Actor: TDKR
Why: He is my #1 Wolverine pick.
Julia Voth as Spiral
Actress: Bitch Slap
Why: She's got the height and look of an amazon. Spiral should be very menacing looking. I am not familiar with her acting ability, but for a 2 second stint, it ain't worth my time.
Kevin Durand as Sabretooth
Actor: Walking Tall
Why: He is my #1 (tied with Skarsgard, another True Blood alumni, the reason I did'nt pick him) Sabretooth.
Selma Blair as Roma (the daughter of Merlin)
Actress: Hellboy
Why: There is something about her that screams "pay attention" to me. If she was Roma, she demands to be listened to.
