It certainly has been a while for me since i've done one of these. I've decided to finish off TASM's cast after I saw the newest trailer which got me pumped for the movie. I have a ton of other ideas to do, but for now this is what I have. I think they fit pretty well with TASM universe (from what i've seen), and I would definitely love to see them in there. We already know the cast that consists of Andrew Garfield (who I love in the role, hes perfect for it), Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Dennis Leary, etc. so ill start with my additions.
"I wanna go with you.." -Peter
Alden Ehrenreich is Harry Osborn
Well, since I followed this reboot from the very beginning (its how I started on the site), I knew of all the casting rumours and Alden was on the shortlist. However, I immediately thought he looked just like Harry and was better suited for him. Hes been praised for his work in Tetro, and from what i've seen, he did a good job, and reminds a lot of a young Leo Dicaprio. Hes certainly an actor to watch, and this could help him break out, too.
Bruce Campbell is J Jonah Jameson
If you know me from around, you probably know I love Bruce. He's one of my favorite actors ever, and a perfect fit for JJJ in my opinion. Even though his cameos were slightly a staple of Raimis films, he could easily do this, and no one would notice. Though he'd probably be more serious this time around, Bruce would still own as Jameson. It's Ash Williams and Sam Axe. Its Bruce mother[frick]in' Campbell!
Rachel Nichols is Felicia Hardy/Black Cat
I was thinking who could pull this role off, seeing as it would be a bit hard without making it cheesy, and I thought Nichols, with the ability to play both serious and sexy, could make audiences love the femme fatale. They could easily make Felicia a cult favorite.
Rufus Sewell is Norman Osborn
This is one I never would have suggested in the past, in fact I think i've never seen it. I didn't wanna go with just anyone, but rather the one person you wouldn't expect, that would end up owning the role better than others. Rufus is that for me. I know he can play a pompous ass, and would easily fit inot a ruthless bussiness man/terrible father persona, but im not sure of the goblin side of things, since i haven't seen him do psycho, but he can act his ass off, so im sure he could pull it off. As for the Goblin's design, id hope hes more like a living goblin, something freaky, but of course updated so it doesn't look out of place, but more clearly inspired by the original goblin.
Armie Hammer is Eddie Brock
Some of you probably don't agree with me here, well let me explain. Im sort of re-imagining things here, since Eddie's real origins are pretty unrealistic and not fitting with the scenario at all. Im imagining that Eddie is a high-class socialite, a rich-boy who has it all, family bussiness or something similar, but does journalism and photography. He's a rival photographer to Peter, and his paper/magazine is the 'high-class' one. Im seeing that somehow Eddie is doing illegal things to help his daddys bussiness and peter exposes him, which ends up leaving the company in controversy and bankruptcy, with Eddie losing it all, and his life falling apart around him (his wife leaves him since he has no more money, dad blames him, etc.) and has tremendous rage for spidey and thus the grudge begins. This would build through the movies though, and would leave venom open for a sequel. Armie is absolutely perfect for what i'm imagining here, hes done rich and snobby, hes 6'5, built (filling out the suit for real this time), and his deep voice modified could sound pretty damn menacing. He'd do amazing with the chance.

Giovanni Ribisi is Cletus Kasady/Carnage
Ribisi was never one of my favorite actors, but thats because i'd only seen him in Avatar, where he was nothing special. This does not reflect his acting ability, though, which I saw recently in Contraband (way better than expected, btw), where he gave a great unhinged, creepy baddy performance. I've checked out more of his work, and his voice and creepy demeanor would make for one hell of a crazy Carnage. He'd actually make it work.
Paul Giamatti is Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus
Ock for me is a hard cast. But, I began to think about it and decided the role could use someone much like what I thought for Norman, out of left field, but could surely do a great job. Paul has a really great range, from dramatic to comedic to savage and crazy and cynical. He could make for one great Ock, who is my favorite spidey villain, and fits well with Andrews spidey, I think. I'd want Ock to have a huge storyline if he is introduced again, though, so he doesnt just get killed off in one movie.
David Bowie is Mysterio
Mysterio is another hard cast. I'd like to mention that id want him to updating sort of like the picture, not exactly like that but similar. With Mysterio, I really believe there is alot of potential to have amazing and memorable scenes, just imagine Spider-Man meets Inception, to see what im trying to get across. David has a great mystical type voice that was exactly what I was looking for. He commands with his presence as seen in Labrynth and Prestige, which is perfect for the character.
Barry Pepper is Miles Warren/The Jackal
It's great to see that Pepper is picking up more fame since the dude is extremely under-rated, able to make an impression with just his supporting roles. He has a bit of a creepy look to him that can go great with Miles, who of course would/could start the Clone Saga. I can just imagine Pepper here, he seems perfect.
Nicholas Hoult is Ben Reilly
Now, if the clone saga is done I was thinking of who could be Peters clone. It had to be someone similar to Andrew, and Hoult popped into my head, since he looks a bit like him, but more evil looking. Hes a great frickin actor, and if need be, could take the role to darker places.
Javier Bardem is Kraven the Hunter
Javier's always been my choice for Kraven, and theres no doubt hed be perfect, from looks to acting, just check out No country for Old Men, where his performance would show how great he'd be here. I'd update Kraven a bit though, he could possibly wear his classsic outfit (toned down at least) when hes hunting in the wild, but has a more tactical, modern look (but still with wild hair) when hes in NY.
Lee Pace is Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
I've decided to included my most recent FF choices, since they interact alot and would be awesome to have as supporting characters (I know its not possible). Well, Lee encompasses the full package as far as Reed goes, someone who could lead his team into battle, be a father figure, and a scientist that just wants to help, ending up being a bit of flawed man. He was great on Pushing Daisies and even more so in infamous.
Rachel McAdams is Susan Storm/Ms. Fantastic
I could never find a suitable choice for Susan that wasn't Charlize Theron, but Rachel is an amazing actress who could easily pull off being the mother figure of the group, but still being the strong female, plus shes amazingly beautiful. Ten times better than Jessica Alba, who couldn't have been more wrong for the role.
Hunter Parrish is Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Johnny is a bit harder with the ages I was going with, but luckily I thought of Hunter. Im a huge fan of Weeds and he does great on it. He could easily be the womanizing, wise-cracking Johnny we know and love, and easily get along with Andrew. Hes just synced in with the ages too.
Domenick Lombardozzi is Ben Grimm/The Thing
I'd seen this one somewhere before, not on here and on here too, and after thinking about it, he'd be a really good fit with Ben's in your face New Yawk attitude. Hes even the right height standing at 6'0, and as seen on the wire is a great actor. He's the only actor as of yet that fits this well along with being the right age to be reeds best friend and old college room-mate.
Benedict Cumberbatch is Victor Von Doom
Doom. My favorite villain, and the one villain who deserves to be done justice on screen. This was a tough character to cast for me in the past, but i've now realized that Benedict is just perfect for the role. He's played many, many roles that show a huge amount of range, from Franksensteins monster to Stephen Hawking to Sherlock Holmes, and hes been amazing in every single one of them. He has a commanding presence that grabs your attention no matter whos next to him, and a deep, intelligent voice that would go perfect under Doom's mask. Benedict would completely own as Doom like no one else would.
