Fantastic Four (Idea for a opening scene to the reboot)

This Idea is an opening scene for the FF movie, which sets up the characters & has cameos from other Marvel characters...

This Idea is just for an opening scene but could be used for a start off point if they decide to use a younger cast. However this is if Marvel had the rights & made the movie I wanted to see.

We have a type of science fair, where the top MIT students are exhibiting their latest inventions; these are young future geniuses that we are all familiar with. The prize is an internship & perhaps future place at the famed Storm Foundation, attending is the president of the company with his daughter beautiful Susan & cocky son Johnny, who loves the attention from the press.

As the camera pans the area we get glimpses of the exhibitions. We have Henry Pym showing his android which can download his brain patterns (but someone not impressed asks about his rumored/ground breaking Pym particles). Then we see a young man using low level gamma rays to show how it can heal & even improve cells in the human body if not the body itself - a familiar looking general with a mustache approaches him & says..."how much can you improve the average human body". Next we see a charming, handsome yet very douchie guy enter the area swarmed with paparazzi asking him why he's there... "I'm just here to check out the future competition.

we then pan to an area where to young scientist have created a set or armor with what looks to be a transportation platform. The young super IQ'éd Reed Richards has created a portal to another dimension, be it for a short period of time. It is dangerous, as it is consisting of what may or may not be antimatter. His partner Victor von Doom, brilliant as well but with an arrogance & superiority complex that negates his obvious genius has created an armored suite to traverse the portal.

What happens is that Reed double checks his readings & informs Victor that everything is ready accepted that he found a flaw in his armors design? Victor who feels reed has done this to undermine & embarrass him in front of their peers, public & professors refuses to acknowledge that he could have made a mistake. Stark now part of the crowed remarks..."nice suite Vic would look better in red" & Pym & Banner making snide remarks about Reed..."show off". What happens next is a magnificent spectacle as the portal opens & everyone gets a glimpse of the universe, Victor enters but as he does the armor malfunctions. It reacts almost immediately adversely with the negative energy, & haywires leaving Victor scarred & in pain as no one can get close enough to help him, until Reeds genius shuts off the portal, shuts off the armor & impresses the Storm family & even when he locks eyes with Susan...

Like I said this is just an idea which I thought would be fun to see on screen, it would then move forward to the spaceship & the inevitable creation of the Fantastic Four. This movie should take place between GOG & A2.
Here are my casting choices:

Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards), a scientific genius, can stretch, twist and re-shape his body to inhuman proportions. Mr. Fantastic serves as the father figure of the group, and is "appropriately pragmatic, authoritative, and dull".[15]:19 Richards blames himself for the failed space mission, particularly because of how the event transformed pilot Ben Grimm.

Scott Mechlowicz:

From Eurotrip to the very good Mean Creek or even the very bad Catrun Scott is an actor that can & most likely will break into the main stream. He has the range & the talent to do justice to the character.

Lee Pace (Older version):

If you havent seen Pushing daisy's, Mrs pettygrew Lives for a day then you wont get this choice. Not an original choice, but fro me the right one

Invisible Girl/Invisible Woman (Susan Storm), Reed Richards' girlfriend (and eventual wife) has the ability to bend and manipulate light to render herself and others invisible. She later develops the ability to generate force fields, which she uses for a variety of defensive and offensive effects.

Evan Rachel Wood:
Beautiful & talented, minor the blip that was marying Marilyn Manson, her roles from 13, the Wrestler, Across the universe speaks volume about why I would choose her.

Elizabeth Banks:
Lets just work through the list of why she works besides being the correct choice. The next 3days, What to expect when your expecting, Our idiot brother, Scrubs, etc, etc...oh & she is moking hot while still has the everyday girl next door feel that Susan has to have.

The Thing (Ben Grimm), Reed Richards' college roommate and best friend, has been transformed into a monstrous, craggy humanoid with orange, rock-like skin and super-strength. The Thing is often filled with anger, self-loathing and self-pity over his new existence. He serves as "an uncle figure, a long-term friend of the family with a gruff Brooklyn manner, short temper, and caustic sense of humor".[15]:204 In the original synopsis Lee gave to Kirby, The Thing was intended as "the heavy", but over the years, the character has become "the most lovable group member: honest, direct and free of pretension".[

Alan Ritchson:

Mostly from his television work, he's played aquaman, but lets not hold that against him. He can pull off the jock, athlete, astronaut & still convey the very gentle side of Ben. What i doubt is the new york drawl that i hear when i think of ben when he speaks, but he has the look.

Donnie Wahlberg:
Forget about NKOTB(yeah I remember them), from Blue Bloods, Saw2, & a host of other movies, he is more than equal to his brother, plus he can pull of the New York native I feel Ben should be.

The Human Torch (Johnny Storm), Sue Storm's younger brother, possesses the ability to control fire, allowing him to project fire from his body, as well as the power to fly. This character was loosely based on a Human Torch character published by Marvel's predecessor Timely Comics in the 1940s, an android that could ignite itself. Lee said that when he conceptualized the character, "I thought it was a shame that we didn't have The Human Torch anymore, and this was a good chance to bring him back".[2]:85 Unlike the teen sidekicks that preceded him, the Human Torch in the early stories was "a typical adolescent — brash, rebellious, and affectionately obnoxious."[15]:204 Johnny Storm was killed in the 2011 storyline "Three",[28] before being brought back and rejoining the reformed Fantastic Four.

Sterling Knight:

From the Disney Channel & probably one of the choices to be cut into pieces, I have a strong feeling we will see & hear (sings guys, they all do on the Disney channel). He pulls off the smarky, sarcastic & obnoxious brat off well, but recently he has been trying to loose the Disney tag.

Lucas Til:

Sadly I couldnt find anyone that encompass the traits I see Johnny with like Lucas. yeah he's Havok, but this is a fan cast & I would enjoy his portrail of Johnny.

Doctor von Doom:

Victor von Doom was born decades ago to a tribe of Latverian gypsies under the rule of an unnamed nobleman called the Baron. Victor's mother was a witch named Cynthia Von Doom who died by Mephisto's hand while Doom was young. Victor's father, Werner, was the leader of the tribe and a renowned medicine man who kept his wife's sorceress life quiet in order to protect Victor from a similar fate. Soon after Cynthia's death, the Baron's wife grew incurably ill from cancer and Werner was called to the capitol to heal her. When she succumbed to illness, the Baron labeled Werner a murderer and called for his death. Werner escaped with young Victor, having realized the night before the woman would die. He goes on to die of exposure on the mountainside, cradling the boy in a final embrace and giving him his garments to keep him warm. Victor survived and, on return to the gypsy camp, discovered his mother's occult instruments and swore revenge on the Baron. Victor grew into a headstrong and brilliant man, combining sorcery and technology to create fantastic devices to keep the Baron's men at bay and protect the gypsies. His exploits attracted the attention of the dean of Empire State University, who sent someone to the camp.[39] Offered the chance to study in the United States, Doom chooses to leave his homeland and his love, Valeria, behind. Once in the United States, Victor met fellow student and future nemesis Reed Richards, who was intended to be his roommate, but Doom disliked him and asked for another roommate. After a time, Victor constructed a machine intended to communicate with the dead. Though Richards tried to warn him about a flaw in the machine, seeing his calculations were a few decimals off, Victor continued on with disastrous results. The machine violently failed and the resulting explosion seemingly severely damaged his face.[39] Expelled after the accident, Victor traveled the world until he collapsed on a Tibetan mountainside. Rescued by a clan of monks, Victor quickly mastered the monks' disciplines as well as the monks themselves. Victor then forged himself a suit of armor, complete with a scowling mask, and took the name Doctor Doom.[39] As Doom, he would go on to menace those he felt responsible for his accident—primarily, Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. He succeeded in taking over Latveria, taking an interest in the welfare of the Roma.

Gerard Uliel:

Ive only seen one movie & for me it says it all, Hannibal Rising, he for me has the correct look, accent & menace to do Doom justice.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau:

Another European actor who has had many supporting roles but his lates in Game of Thrones & previous in New Amsterdam is what made me think of him. I can see him pull of the European royal along with the arrogance then the cruel vindictive arch nemisis.

Cameos:

Tony Stark:

Matt Bomer is not original & from White collar i can see why many would choose him. For me Stuart Townsand would be ideal, from his role in LXG, to Queen of the Damned he can do teh character justice & also go into some darker areas of Tony.

Bruce Banner:

Jay Baruchel, he has that self deprecating sense of humor. from his more serious roles you can also see him as someone with pent up anger or who was bullied.

Hank Pym:

Jessie Eisenberg, because I see someone like him in this role, see Adventure land & Social Network...plus why not, why must Marvels geniuses be model types to moderatly attractive, why cant they be these everyday looking guys.

These are my thoughts, please feel free to tear it apart, oh I am still working on my Justice league cast & will post that soon. Ciao

Yeah, Fox suck because they don't force in twenty thousand pointless cameos within the first five minutes of every movie.

Not bad but to many cameos. And if there were cameos it would be Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr.

Like I said, this would be something I'd like to see,& I did state "IF" Marvel had the rights.

Also, except for Pace,Till I haven't seen the other actors used. Forget the cameos, it wouldve only been used to connect the movie with the rest of the MCU.

Also recasting certain parts, like Stark,RDJ is awesome, but like in the comics the character could be changed in future. Different artists draw the same characters differently, like directors would change much of a franchise, even the stars if they had to. Also cept for Stark, the other would rep younger versions of the established stars in their Roles.

It won't happen, I have peace with that, but this is fanfiction...emphasis on fiction.

I enjoy the crit, but some of you could lighten up, but keep it coming,we post at our own peril.

Have a good one guys

Yes. This is very much a fan fiction, folks. It's a fan dream scenario, and for that reason: I like your ideas. However, while it may introduce the characters in a life-changing event, there's too many cameos. But once again, it's fan fiction, your ideas are pretty cool.
