After an opening action set piece in the snowy mountains of the Himalayas we embark on a new adventure with Indy (Armie Hammer) across South America in search of the fountain of youth.
Joined by Gwen Lillywhite (Hayley Atwell), a feisty female pilot who is only along because she believes Indy owes her a new plane after hers was shot down while flying him across the border, & Wylie Carter (Giovani Ribisi), dragged reluctantly on the adventure, a small time & useless hood who works on the black market that Indy uses sometimes for his contacts in South America.
They are racing to find the fountain before Alex Torelli (Ben Foster), once Indy’s best friend & partner & now sworn enemy, who sales archeological finds to the highest bidder & will kill anyone who gets in his way.
