You know the drill by know. Here are the candidates.
Final Candidates for Perry White
Ed Harris
A massive name during the 90's with films such as The Rock. Harris has a commanding presence and a no nonsense attitude in that film that I envision Perry White is the General in the newsroom.
Tom Berenger
Has worked with Chris Nolan on a couple of occasions recently with him on Inception. He has the look of Perry and could pull off the hot headed Editor in Chief. Could potentially be in the running.
Tommy Lee Jones
A stallwart fan favourite for Perry. He is a sure enough name for role to own it completely and has the on screen presence and stature to make the role true to the comics. Jones will sure enough be linked to the role.
Alec Baldwin
Along with TLJ another fan favourite. There are sure enough lots of candidates for the role of Perry, but only actors capable of taking the role will make the call. Baldwin falls into this category and would be able to turn from Langella Perry to comics Perry.
Matthew Perry
A name not on the radar as much as the other high profile names but could be cast as a younger looking Perry White as oppose to the older Perry which would be seen with the Spiderman movies J Jonah Jameson, in a cliche. Would definately ruffle feathers but could be a Ledger, meaning a master stroke.

Another tough choice, for this one I chose Ed Harris. I feel that Perry needs to be a massive presence in the newsroom, something that Harris can show. Harris can also have show a kinder side to Perry that is rarely seen only towards to Lois.
