We all know about Ghost Rider, it's fairly somewhat successful films and what not. But I've been wanting to share with my fellow superhero fans on what they should do for a successful GR film. I know I ran him into the ground and I apologize. First I will explain the whole movie, go into why I stuck with Johnny Blaze, why the villain choice, who I want to play Johnny Blaze, the tone and who I think would be the perfect director for a Ghost Rider reboot.

The film should have Johnny Blaze (I prefer him over Dan Ketch, despite Dan Ketch having better villains, Johnny is also no older than his late 20's early 30's) literally running from his past. Constantly on the road. The beginning of the film should start with Johnny Blaze giving a voice over about his past and what lies ahead. What happened with his mother and everything since. While he gives us the voice over, the chopper should be riding down a road leaving a trail of flames behind. Giving us glimpses of GR without showing it all. It should have a supernatural feel while feeling darker than any other superhero film. We then catch up to Johnny Blaze, sweating in his sleep, grunting. You hear Mona make Johnny promise her never to ride again, his promise to Roxanne that he'll never leave her. Mephistopheles making the deal with Johnny, you hear a motorcycle crash, and then you see a flash of a demonic face with a screeching like roar during and slightly after the flash. Johnny then wakes up in terror. He sits up, then goes to the bathroom to wash his face. He looks up at the mirror after doing so and we see a flash of a skull where his face should be (through the mirror.) He then throws on his trademark black, leather gear and walks out the door. We then see him approach a carnival as he walks towards the entrance, he gets an uneasy feeling, turns around with an older man (early 50's looking man) looking at him. Johnny turns around and starts walking away quickly. It then cuts to an asylum.

We see a man, sewing a brown cloth with the mask resembling that of a face of a Scarecrow. The guards open the door and hand him dinner, then starts taunting the man (Ebenezer Laughton/Scarecrow, early 30's) by talking about his horrific, abusive childhood with flashes of his mother drinking then beating him, showing. He starts gripping the sewing needle violently, he than stabs one of the guards in the knee cap and starts fighting them using his acrobatics to dodge them and breaks one of the guards' neck and as Ebenezer backs off, grinning the surviving guard then tazes Ebenezer. Johnny is then seen walking into a local bar then asks one of the waitresses if Debbie is there working right now (This is Debbie from In Denver Dwells a Demon, but obviously a different version.) The waitress goes to find her will Johnny takes a sit at the bar. A woman with dark brown hair approaches him (this is Debbie) and they start talking and flirting. But things get tense when Johnny is asked if him coming to the bar is his way of escaping something. Johnny then replies "yes, but if you are trying to get information of me out, then it isn't going to work." She tells him that she has to get back to work, kisses his cheek and walks away. Johnny then takes another drink of beer as he looks over and sees that same old man looking at him. Johnny sets the beer down and walks into the bathroom and splashes water on his face. The man walks in and starts taunting Johnny, telling him that he's been looking for him. Johnny then starts shouting asking who he is, then the man's eyes turn bloodshot read and his teeth becoming demonic asking in a taunting voice "You don't remember me?" Smiling as he does so. Johnny throws a punch and connects with Mephistopheles' face revealing a demonic skin underneath his human host. Johnny backs up in horror then is grabbed by the throat and slammed against the mirror with ash slowly coming from his mouth. Mephistopheles then continues say that Johnny can't run away from him now and that he is now forever the host to the Ghost Rider. As Johnny struggles to get free as he screams in pain with ash flying out, Mephistopheles then lets him go and reveals that Roxanne works at this very same bar and is in trouble. Johnny looks up at him in ferocity saying that he will let nothing happen to her. Mephistopheles then explains that the only way to protect her is to become the Ghost Rider. Johnny's skin melting and becoming ash as the skull is almost exposed, Johnny says he'll be the Ghost Rider to protect Roxanne and he'll comeback to destroy Mephistopheles.

He is then shown to have completely transformed, turns to the camera as we see the flaming skull in all it's glory then walks out of the bathroom into an ally way. A biker gang is then shown beating down a man, with blood dripping off of the man's face. The Ghost Rider senses innocent blood spilled, he walks over to one of the bikers and punches through their faces leaving ash falling from the hole made in their face by his fist then takes his chain. He then whips and wraps it around a bikers' legs the pulls, their legs turn into ash. The final biker punches the rider, Ghost Rider doesn't budge then headbutts the biker in the face and the biker falls. Ghost Rider grips the man (bikers') face and you hear a voice say "You've spilled innocent blood, look into my eyes" the man starts freaking out but is staring into the riders' eyes as fire is shown then quickly goes through the man's eye sockets (I thought this would be a cool way to portray the Penance stare) with the fire then shown disintegrating the mans' nerves into ash then melts his brain as it slowly disintegrates. We then show Ghost Rider letting the man go and the man just goes limp and lays there motionless. An ambulance arrives to take the man to the hospital as his motorcycle approaches him with flaming wheels. He rides away as the ambulance arrives.

The camera then shows a young blonde (mid 20's) walking out of the bar. She sees the ambulance there, she asks Debbie what happened and she explains how a man was getting beaten to near death by bikers then a monster with a flaming skull turned 2 of the 3 bikers into ash. We are then brought back to the asylum with Ebenezer and other asylum patients in the cafeteria. Ebenezer is sitting there eating then a guard comes to him saying he has a visitor. Sitting behind a glass wall, there stands a man with white hair and eyes, fairly built and a man who is mixed or black in a business suit with dark orange or brown hair. Ebenezer asks the two men who they are, the white man says his name is Snowblind and the other man says he's Deathwatch. Ebenezer asks them what they want and they explain that their gonna help him break out and asks what they should call him, Ebenezer looks at the mask in his hand and responses with "Scarecrow", Deathwatch then grins as we are brought back to Ghost Rider riding down the streets, leading back to his apartment. As he approaches his door, he then screams in pain in a low demonic like roar as he is transformed back into Johnny Blaze. Johnny is on his knees shaking, and slowly tries standing up in pain. He walks into his apartment as he checks his voice messages as he goes to sit on his bed, he hears Mephistopheles saying "How was your night, Blaze?" Mephisto then chuckles a little. "You in pain? The first night always is, because of the first time transforming into him then back into you." "Get use to it because every night, you'll become him." "Expect powerful enemies very soon, good luck" he then chuckles again as the message beeps. Grunting in frustration, he goes back to the bar looking for Roxanne. Asking what time she'll be at work, and just as the waitress is about to respond the same blonde girl enters the bar. Johnny turns around in shock, Roxanne looks back confused. Realizing who he is, she smacks him across the face and calls him a lying bastard. Johnny then follows her, trying to explain why he left and that she's in danger. Not believing him, she yells at him to get out of her face before the police is called. Johnny then walks out saddened.

We are now brought to Deathwatch, looking out into the city. Explaining to a built, albino man why he (The albino man, Blackout) is going to the asylum as Blackout is getting a procedure done to have metallic fangs to become a self made vampire. Deathwatch continues saying that him and Snowblind are going to help Scarecrow escape the asylum. Blackout chuckles then says "Before I go, lets see how well these bad boys are" He then pulls the dentist towards him and bites his neck as a shadow shows blood spewing onto the wall and Blackout ripping the dentists throat out using his fangs. He stands up as he drops the dentist chuckling while saying "They work." We are then brought back to the bar with Roxanne talking to Debbie, explaining her past with Johnny and wonders why he shows up now. She goes on how because of the economy, being a waitress at a bar is the only option she had. Debbie then explains that she should patch up things with Johnny before something happens because she has a bad feeling that what Johnny said was true. We then go back to the asylum (outside) two guards standing in front of the gate Snowblind then approaches them confessing to be a drug lord and is willing to go in but instead gets the cops called on him. But when the guards go to turn around, Blackout murders the one who called the cops then breaks the other ones' neck. Snowblind takes the keys as they enter the asylum and projects a white field from his eyes blinding everyone but him in the room as Blackout goes outside to place a bomb and detonates it. Patients starts escaping, we then see Ebenezer escaping as Blackout and Snowblind take him to Deathwatch's company building.

The sun is setting as Johnny is riding back down to the bar to confront Roxanne when his chopper starts picking up momentum and the wheels start catching fire, he looks at the tires and says "FU.." he transforms before he can fully say "[frick]" as his face catches fire, his skin becomes ash and he is once again the Ghost Rider. He then disappears into the darkness as Blackout, Scarecrow and Snowblind approach the building. Scarecrow spots a woman pushing her baby in the stroller, he tells the other two he'll catch up to him. They see what he has his eyes on, Blackout goes into a closet in the building, grabs a pitchfork and hands it to Scarecrow as Blackout and Snowblind reenter the building. Scarecrow puts on the mask and carries the pitchfork, he walks towards the woman and says that he's gonna help her release her fears. Their shadow on a building shows him impaling her through the chest with his pitchfork, she falls to the ground with her spewing blood. He then looks at the baby as the baby is crying, he tells the baby that he told them he was gonna release their fears then the baby stops as the child is interrupted by Scarecrow impaling the child as well. Blood is seen on Scarecrows orange jumpsuit from the asylum. He then goes into the building as Ghost Rider is seen stopping in front of the building. Looks down and sees the trail of blood Scarecrow left as the rider sees the blood coming from the woman and blood dripping from the stroller. He growls as we his voice saying "That monster will pay for what he did to them." He gets off his chopper and walks into the building. He finds Snowblind standing in the hall in front of the door that Scarecrow is seen walking through. Snowblind goes to enter but Ghost Rider whips his chain and wraps it around Snowblind's leg and pulls him towards himself (The Rider) as police are heard outside at the scene of the crime walking into the building as well searching. Ghost Rider is now seen punching Snowblind repeatedly then he slams him multiple times into the wall using his chain, possibly paralyzing him. He then kneels down, looks at Snowblind and we hear him say "You maybe blind and not the culprit but I will punish you for all the wrong you've done." He is about to give Snowblind the penance stare when a NYPD captain (Captain Dolan, in his early 40's) says "Freeze!" Ghost Rider doesn't stop, so Captain Dolan shoots him and Ghost Rider turns around looking at Captain Dolan straight in the eyes. We hear Ghost Rider say "You're innocent, but you interfere when I am bringing justice to those whose blood has been spilt" Snowblind tries crawling away, Ghost Rider looks at him, grabs the hook of his chain and jams it into the back of Snowblinds' knee.

Blood coming from Snowblinds' leg, Ghost Rider stands up and punts him in the face. Knocking him out. We then see Deathwatch asking where Snowblind is, Blackout opens the door to see where he is. Ghost Rider is seen right in the door way and throws a hard, right hook to Blackout. Knocking him to the ground, Scarecrow impales Ghost Rider, pinning him to the wall. Ghost Rider is thought dead for a few seconds, the fire reignites again. He pulls out the pitchfork and stabs Scarecrow in the stomach, pinning him to the wall. Police start to run down the hall, as Ghost Rider runs through Deathwatch's office, knocking Deathwatch out with a punch to the face while running. The Rider goes through the glass and falls to the concrete sidewalk, below. Gets on his chopper and rides off. The police search the office and Blackout starts picking them off one by one. Deathwatch then stands up behind Captain Dolan, Captain Dolan turns around and is grabbed by the face, by Deathwatch. We start seeing his memories but Deathwatch can't seem to find the human side of Ghost Rider. He then throws Dolan across the room, knocking him out. Barely surviving. Deathwatch calls the ambulance for Snowblind as they search for Scarecrow whom completely disappeared. The camera then cuts to monks in black hoods entering a church, carrying Scarecrow. We then see their faces, their demonic and pitch black (This is the firm, I figured we could add more mystic to them by posing them as monks.) They set him down and perform a ritual bringing him back to life. Brought back to life, they explain to him that he is given powers that would help him kill the Ghost Rider, he then grins and we go to Roxanne trying to find Johnny's house. Johnny then approaches his home, transforms back to human and walks into his house as Roxanne observes across the street. She then walks over and knocks on his door, as Johnny is pacing and throwing his furniture around his home. He then opens up the door and stands in shock to see Roxanne. He lets her come in, they start reminiscing the past, and she asks him why he broke his promise to her. Johnny explains that he left because he was scared that if he would've stayed, she would've died too. Knowing through his voice he's telling half the truth, she tells him to tell her the whole story. He softly grunts, then starts talking about his deal to save Crash (her father) from cancer and in return he gave his soul to Mephisto. Mephisto found him a couple days ago and told Johnny that he would become the host to the Ghost Rider, a flaming skulled demon who reeked vengeance on those who did wrong and spilt innocent blood. He tells her that he only agreed to hosting Ghost Rider so he can ensure her safety. She leans closer to him and kisses his lips tenderly. Parting their lips, she tells him that he's insane and that she's worried about him. He tells her it's best if she laid low for awhile so she isn't in danger. He stands up and leaves, leaving her alone his is apartment. He is seen approaching his chopper when he starts hearing screams and starts seeing images of Roxanne covered in blood as he falls to his knees, shaking trying to bring his mind back into the real world. He is then approached by Scarecrow, Scarecrow then speaks to him "So you're the Ghost Rider, I thought you'd be more built. You were one big son of a bitch." Johnny stands up and throws a punch but Ebenezer dodges and strikes back knocking Johnny on his ass. Scarecrow then starts taunting Johnny "I almost forgot to tell you, incase you didn't notice. I've been resurrected." "I can now kill the Ghost Rider, I am just about unkillable, I hope you don't mind me paying a visit to your girl." He then impales Johnny through the back and pulls the pitchfork out. Scarecrow grabs Roxanne and escapes. Johnny trying to stand up but can't, he's loosing blood quickly but he finds the strength and transforms into Ghost Rider. He gets on his chopper and chases Scarecrow through the city. Scarecrow is surrounded by crows, turns around recklessly and points to Ghost Rider and the crows start attacking him. Becoming enraged he roars with fire coming from his mouth, burning the crows. He then dodges traffic as he continues chasing Scarecrow to a power plant, Ghost Rider stands on his chopper, whips his chain with the hook grabbing onto the front of Scarecrow's car. Ghost Rider yanks back and the car starts flipping downhill towards the power plant. Scarecrow slowly gets up, grabs Roxanne and enters the building. Ghost Rider starts riding down the hill towards the power plant. Gets off the chopper and rushes inside. Scarecrow throws Roxanne into an empty room then goes and hides behind a tub of toxic waste. Ghost Rider enters the hall and starts looking but can't find either Roxanne or Scarecrow. He starts to worry and starts seeing his fears again, gaining more strength, Scarecrow attacks Ghost Rider using his acrobatics and strength. He continues attacking him with extreme violence. Beaten down, Ghost Rider is once again impaled. But he pulls the pitchfork out and starts fighting back using his chain to whip Scarecrow. Blood streaming from Scarecrow's back, they keep fighting until Ghost Rider catches Scarecrow with his chain and throws him into the wall by the tub and Scarecrow falls into the tub and tries escaping but the toxic is burning him too quickly and eventually kills him. Disintegrating the bone, Ghost Rider then finally finds Roxanne and they start leaving the building. Johnny transforming back into human, he tells her that it's over and their going home. We then see Blackout and Deathwatch again, Blackout telling Deathwatch that Scarecrow is now dead for good. Deathwatch then tells Blackout to make sure Snowblind doesn't tell anyone, anything and to find Roxanne and kill her, Blackout grins and we go to end credits.
I know it needs some polishing, but what do you think?
I want to see Jake Gyllenhaal as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider because he is such a talented actor and I think this role could really help him become much bigger actor in hollywood than his is right now and I just feel he can be the perfect Johnny Blaze.
I chose Scarecrow because I think he could be a good villain for GR on film and I think he's a GR villain that deserves to be in one of the movies. He's just becomes a really imposing villain.
Director: Rupert Sanders
I know his debut film isn't till friday but I feel that visually he can really make an excellent and unique Ghost Rider film and I think that he can be an excellent director overall. I think he would definitely be a possible, perfect choice for GR.
The tone for Ghost Rider needs to be darker than Batman because he deals with supernatural and because of how the character and his villains are. If they go with what I wrote, but definitely polish it up a bit. I think that Sony or Marvel can truly make the Ghost Rider film we deserve.
This is my first time writing out an entire movie, but whatya think? Comment below, be respectful and if you got any advice I can take into the future. I would much appreciate it. Thank you.
