I LOVE THE GHOST RIDER COMICS! and i when Nic Cage was announced those years back in the first Ghost Rider films, I was pissed, the films made me even more pissed. Sure, some of the scenes of Ghost Rider were cool, but Nic Cage ruined it..

SO HERE I AM - Hoping a (GOOD) reboot will happen, in here's my FAN-CAST! Please comment you're thoughts!

READ THE DESCRIPTION UNDER EACH PHOTO PLEASE!

RYAN GOSLING - JOHNNY BLAZE / GHOST RIDER

Ryan can go from super violent, to funny playboy, to straight up serious to the point you want to turn off the movie. My point is he is a great actor, Watch "DRIVE" and then "PLACE BEYOND THE PINES" he would be perfect, intense, dark.. and really good! if you don't agree watch those two movies coming from a fan of the comics!

YOUNG JOHNNY BLAZE / LUKE BENWARD

I honestly don't care who plays a younger Johnny, as long as you feel dramatically attached, and he's a good actor. but as far as i go for luke benward he looks like a good young (johnny blaze)

WILL PATTEN - Johnny's Dad

I mean, its not that hard of a role to fill, Plus Will Patten is a good actor and he looks like a sad old man. Also they should show more of they're relationship in the movie to show how close they are and how hard it is for Johnny Blaze to make the decision.

GINNIFER GOODWIN - ROXANNE SIMPSON

So Ginnifer Goodwin is a pretty actress, i know her for movies and she is good, she's in One upon a Time and i don't like that show! but i do happen to think she would do great, and be a good choice for Roxanne!

ABBIE CORNISH - ROXANNE SIMPSON (choice #2)

Abbie Cornish has been in action films before, and she is a good actress! in the film "Limitless" she's put in danger while on the phone with Bradley Cooper! and that scene you can really see she'd do good in a Super-Hero film! so i think she would be another great choice!

NOW LETS GET SOME VILLAINS UP IN HERE!

DANIEL DAY-LEWIS - THE DEVIL

Now Daniel Day-Lewis is known for playing, Not the bad guy.. But he is a solid and academy-ward winner, Actor! and i feel like he'd do a great gritty take on the devil! so what do you think?

GARY OLDMAN - THE DEVIL (choice #2)

I want the devil to have small, shadowy take in this film like the most you see him is the beginning and he is dressed so nice that its scary, haha.. Fedora, nice black suit... something like that.. and i feel like Gary Oldman would do great pulling that off, same with Daniel Day-Lewis!

SHARLTO COPLEY - MADCAP (villain)

MadCap's story if you don't know was he was religious, happy guy! and his family was killed, shortly after he committed suicide and was found by the Devil. So why not have a psycho play the role? he did it great in "Elysium"

JON BERNTHAL - Friend, and right hand man.

Jon Bernthal can have a smaller role in this film than the others, but just that guy who's there for Johnny Blaze, rides with him, travels with him, and close friends! who maybe dies and makes Johnny angry, wanting to kill MADCAP.

AND FOR THE DIRECTOR CHAIR! these Directors i can see put a great feel, and dark, cool take on Ghost Rider.

GUY RITCHIE - CHOICE #1 (Sherlock Holmes)

QUENTIN TARANTINO - CHOICE #2 (Django Unchained)

RIDLEY SCOTT - CHOICE #3 (PROMETHEUS)

AND THATS MY CAST & CREW for a GHOST RIDER, REBOOT! Comment thoughts please!

Gary Oldman as Mephisto would be interesting to see.

Really, Gosling again? You fanboys do realize that he's not only actor in the world, right? Also, would you (and this pretty much goes for nearly every person who posts articles and comments on this site) please learn the difference between "your" & "you're", "there", "their", & "they're", and "to", "too", and "two"?

Funny you bring that up Lhornbk

Today, my English teacher was writing notes on the board for us to write down. She wrote "there" yet meant "their". Then only two lines down, she wrote "they're" yet meant "their" again. I mean that's basic English grammar and an English teacher gets it wrong? The world's gone to shit.

Quentin Tarantino and Ridley Scott would never do this, neither of them are even a good choice for Ghost Rider! And don't even get me started on the rest of the cast

Nope. Good actors and directors. I don't think any of them fit though. Daniel Day-Lewis would never want to do these kinds of films anyway.

Here's what I got (villains tend to change so I won't include em here): David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) as the director, John Logan (The Last Samurai, Skyfall and Gladiator) as the writer, Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain, Source Code, Prisoners) as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestlers, only movie I have seen her in) as Roxanne Simpson and Steve Jablonsky (Transformers films, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and The Island) as the composer.

I just don't see your fancast happening, sorry. Not saying I see mine happening though, it just makes the most sense in my opinion. Again, you have a good set of actor and director choices but I don't see these ever happening.
