-Detective Ellen Yin: "There have been some reports about a bomb threat sir."
Lieutenant Gordon: "Really? What do we know?"
Detective Ellen Yin: "Well we found a body that was cut up pretty badly, and on the victim's chest was cut out a message thats appears to be a type of warning or bombing schedule."-Ellen hands Gordon a picture of the victim-
Lieutenant Gordon reads the body: "... one, one, two-thousand thirteen... twelve o'clock am, tick, tick."-Stops reading-
Lieutenant Gordon: "Sounds like 'New Years Eve', thats a week from now. Have any idea who's behind it?"
Detective Ellen Yin: "Well the victim's name was Kirigi Mashato, a former assassin based off of his bodily qualities. And he had words branded into his right shin. The words said 'Demon's Head' in Arabic.
Lieutenant Gordon: "Demon's Head? Sounds like.."-Cut to Batman in Bat Cave-
Batman: ".. the League of Shadows.. I've heard rumors about them, Computer, assess all details of the Mashato crime scene, bring up all records of murder victims that had an Arabic word or symbol on their right shin, and and try to find any usable information under 'The League of Shadows', order all files by level of relevancy.
-Thirty minutes later...-
Alfred: "Detective work coming along fine Mr. Wayne?"
Batman: "Well we've managed to find out that only two people were reported by law enforcement as murder victims with the word 'Demon's Head' branded on their right shin. Both were considered terrorists. Kirigi, and a man named Ra's Al Ghul. Only, Ra's Al Ghul was reported murdered over four-hundred years ago, while trying to plant explosives... Computer, translate 'Ra's Al Ghul'.
Computer: "Ra's Al Ghul, Arabic for.. 'The Demon's Head'.
Alfred: "Perhaps this 'League of Shadows' is still at large it seems..
Batman: "Maybe not just the League."

-At Wayne Industries building, in board meeting-
Board Member giving presentation: "We are the heart, the soul of Gotham. Every decision we make, affects gotham in some way. If we rise, Gotham rises. If we fall, Gotham falls.. that is why we need to..."
-Bruce Wayne has an epiphany-Bruce's Thoughts: "Terrorist. Ra's Al Ghul. New Years. Explosives. ["If we fall, Gotham falls."] Thats it. The League's going to bomb the building."-Bruce leaves the room.
Board member: "Your a part of this too Mr. Wayne!"-Door shuts-

-Later at the G.C.P.D. building-
Lieutenant Gordon: "I think the bombing is gonna happen at the 'Wayne Industries' building."
Detective Ellen Yin: "Really? Why?"
Lieutenant Gordon: "Well I've been doing a lot of digging and I-I just have a hunch."
Detective Ellen Yin: "Well you'd better be right Lieutenant, because if this is real, there'll be a lot of blame on your head."
Lieutenant Gordon: "I know.."
12 HOURS UNTIL DETONATION
-At Bat Cave-
Alfred: "Have you found the bomb sir?"
Batman: "I know what building its in, but in don't know where exactly. I searched the building yesterday, but i wasn't able to search everywhere because I ran out of time. Call Lucius , I'm gonna need something that can pick up bomb signals through satellites.
Alfred: "Way ahead of you sir."
Batman: "Thank you Alfred."
3 HOURS UNTIL DETONATION
-In Police vehicle-
Lieutenant Gordon speaking into radio: "All units be ready to respond.."
Other Officers: "Roger that"
Lieutenant Gordon: "Bomb Squad?"
Bomb Squad: "Ready sir."
Lieutenant Gordon: "Ok time to move I want 19 Officers to get all the civilians to leave the building then search the first five floors. The others search the rest.
1 HOUR UNTIL DETONATION
-Underneath Wayne Industries-
Batman's thoughts: I found it..Ok, I know how to do this.."
-Eight assassins surround Batman out of the darkness. He fights off most of them, then a smoke bomb rolls into the room.-
-Batman wakes up in in unfamiliar room, filled with assassins, and the one right in from of him.. is Ra's Al Ghul-
Ra's Al Ghul: " It appears you've passed the assessment detective.. Now are you ready for the real test?
Batman: "The bomb.."
Ra's Al Ghul: "Don't worry, the bomb has been disabled."
Batman: "Why did you-Ra's Al Ghul interrupts him: "This world is in a state of chaos, pain, weakness, fear and defeat Detective. More accurately, in need of global cleansing. I'm sure you can agree Detective, seeing that you sneak out every night, trying to fix this city one mindless criminal at a time. But I must ask, why do you spare them?
Batman: "A criminal is still a person, If I killed, I'd be just like you, a murdering psychopath bent on destruction."
Ra's Al Ghul: "This soft era of time has clouded you detective, and when I cleanse the world of it impurities, you'll see.. that is, if you choose the correct path. I've been here for a long time as you may know, and like all good things, I must come to an end. But before I do, I need someone that can rule like a true leader, a replacement that can handle what I do. I believe you may have potential detective, but for now only time will tell.
