I've decided to take another stab at fancasting. This time I wanted to focus on a movie. Now, I don't think a Doctor Strange film has been confirmed, but I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing one soon enough. So I've taken half the work off Marvel's back and decided to cast it for them. You're welcome.
Well then, I suppose we should get started.
Brad Pitt As Dr. Strange: Brad Pitt is a terrific actor. He has turned in some really solid performances over his career. He's also got a HUGE following. Also, he clearly has no issue growing goatees. Between his acting ability and his bank-ability, he's a great choice in my opinion.
Alice Eve As Clea: Alice Eve has been in a few movies, but I've only seen 2 of them. However, she was great in both of the movies I saw and I think she has the ability to do a good job here. She's also gorgeous...So that helps.
Josh Brolin as Baron Mordo: Josh Brolin is, in my opinion, a highly underrated actor. He's amazing. He's also got the right look, but mainly it's his acting ability. The guy is great and would kill it.
Alan Rickman As Dormammu: Alan Rickman's voice is probably one of the greatest things on Earth. I don't think I need to say much else...
Sung Kang As Wong: I haven't seen many of Sung Kang's movies except for the "Fast and Furious" franchise and "Better Luck Tomorrow". What I've seen of his is great. He's easily my favorite part of the F&F franchise and I think he'd be great for Wong. He isn't a huge name and I think that's needed for a smaller part like this.
George Takei As The Ancient One: This decision was made partially because I couldn't think of anyone else AND I do kinda feel like George Takei would probably be pretty good. I know he's not the best actor, but I bet if he was given a solid script, he'd do a really good job.
