Basically I need help with the titles of the 2nd and 3rd films of my Superman Reboot Trilogy. The first is called simply "The Man of Steel" but can't think of a decent enough title for the other two. Below is the story for all 3 movies I have in mind. I will include the cast at the bottom as well for viewing:
THE MAN OF STEEL
Clark Kent is a super powered man struggling to find his place in the world. Torn between exposing himself to the world and helping humanity and staying hidden away keeping his powers secret to protect himself and the people he cares about. When he exposes himself to the world, the media, goverments and public go into chaos with the arrival of the super powered hero, dubbed Superman. Lex Luthor, owner and CEO of LexCorp sees this as the perfect opportunity to have his own one man army and offers Superman a job which he refuses and records Luthor's criminal testimony, annomolously dropping the recording to Lois Lane. Finally getting her man, Lois exposes Lex's true colours to the public and is arrested before making bail. Lex uses Intergang to kill Lois Lane and Superman but they are all defeated by Superman. They are then interrupted by the arrival of a large spaceship over Metropolis. Brainiac, an alien android appeas and is confronted by the army led by Lois' father. Brainiac however is more interested in Superman believing he has the crystal he seeks. Superman is confused as to why he would have his alien crystal and Brainiac reveals that Superman is an alien. Brainiac attacks Superman while he ship begins searching and destroying Metropolis for the crystal. Superman defeats Brainiac leaving his ship open for attack which is then destroyed and falls into Metropolis bay. Brainiac survived however and makes a deal with Lex Luthor to build him a new body in exchange for knowledge of Superman's weakness. Lex agrees and supplies Brainiac with materials for his body. Brainiac creates a new body and a duplicate and begins to study Superman's life, including his dual identity as Clark Kent. He kidnaps Superman's parents and orders Lex Luthor to get him Lois Lane. Luthor has John Corben kidnap Lois who is handed over to Brainiac. With hostages to use against Superman, he draws his attention and offers him a final chance to give him the crystal. With no crystal to give him, Brainiac shoots Jonathan Kent. Superman in a rage attacks both Brainiac's and a viscious battle throughout the already damaged Metropolis occurs. Struggling to overcome both Brainiac, Superman is handed a boost when Lex Luthor emerges donning a Power Suit and helps Superman defeat Brainiac for good. Superman returns just in time to watch his father die in his mothers arms. After Jonathan's funeral, his mother Martha confirms to Clark that he is in fact an alien and his spaceship is buried in the back field. Digging it up, he finds the crystal Brainiac was after and takes it to the arctic circle to get rid of it for good. Throwing it away, it grows to create an alien looking structure, the Fortress of Solitude.
THE MAN OF STEEL 2 (Working Title)
Now I need help for the sequel's title. I have been wrestling with a few ideas. "The Man of Steel Returns" is an obvious choice, "The Man of Tomorrow" is another choice. I just can't think of a decent title. Anyway, to help here is a short sypnosis:
**After the chaos caused by Brainiac, rebuilding in Metropolis is well underway and Superman is ever more present about protecting the world. John Corben is now a marked man after being fired from the Daily Planet for his collaberation with Lex Luthor. He is also in hiding for his life after Lex Luthor put a bounty on his head after betraying Luthor. Looking to get his career on track, he is following the terrorist known as "Toyman" who is attacking Metropolis with toy bombs. With Lois and Clark rivaling him for the story, he finds Toyman but is captured and tied up. Toyman's bomb goes off and Corben who nearly escapes is caught in the blast. Luthor has Intergang steal his body from the hospital so he can exact his revenge. He uses Corben as a test subject in "Project: Metallo" and turns him into a cyborg powered by Kryptonite. Shocked at his appearance, Corben attacks Luthor before fleeing into the streets where panic emerges at his shock appearance. When stopped by the Police, Corben attacks them causing Superman to appear and is immediately weakened. Corben realises Superman's weakness and beats Superman to a pulp before leaving to plan his revenge on Lex, Lois and Superman.**
THE MAN OF STEEL 3 (Working Title)
The last film in the trilogy. I have been very keen on having "The Man of Steel Returns" for this movie as it involves SUPERMAN vs DOOMSDAY! and Superman's return from death.
**When a strange alien craft crashes into Metropolis bay, it is extracted and is studied by LexCorp. When they open the ship they release what it was holding, a ferocious unstoppable beast that comes to be known as Doomsday. Doomsday kills and destroys the lab and leaves a trail of destruction toward Metropolis where he is met by Superman. Matched for strength, Doomsday and Superman battle til death when both titans are killed by a single blow each. With the world in shock at the death of the seemingly invincible Superman, it struggles to cope with criminals running a mockery. Brainiac, who has his programming running in LexCorp's system reboots and orders Luthor to build him another body. With Superman dead and nobody to stop him, Brainiac will take the knowledge from the Fortress of Solitude and destroy earth.**
