DISCLAIMER FOR DISCLAIMER: I really didn't want to do this but because of some experience doing these things..... I just got to.

DISCLAIMER: This is not real. This will never end up on actual film. These are my personal choices for the cast of a BLADE film, so be kind and enjoy.

Connor MacLeod

Benedict Cumberbatch
Connor was a Scottish clansman in the 1500's, who after surviving from a "fatal" injury, discovers he an immortal. For centuries he walked the earth, always trying to maintain a quiet and peaceful life, but of course that could never happen.
Cumberbatch is a remarkable British actor who is most known from his title role in SHERLOCK, and as the voice of SMAUG in THE HOBBIT:THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG. A year and a half ago I had no idea who this guy was apart from the fact that he played Sherlock Holmes in the BBC show, but a friend of mine begged me to watch the show and after that I was hooked. Soon I saw him in TINKER,TAILOR,SOLDIER,SPY and then of course STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. This guy is badass, and his deep commanding voice is just killer. After giving it a lot of thought, I came to the conclusion that Cumberbatch would make a very cool Connor. He could play the strong silent type very well, and I know he could handle himself in a fight. Plus I'd just by that he's a immortal, he just has that face.

The Kurgen

Ryan Hurst
The Kurgan—who was found on the shores of the Kurgan tribe where he was taken in and named Vitor—was born in what is now Russia on the border of the Caspian Sea. His tribe, the Kurgans, were infamous for their cruelty, and were known to "toss children into pits full of starved dogs, and watch them fight for "the meat" for amusement. He has a long history with Macleod as he killed his mentor, Ramirez, and raped his then wife heather.
Hurst is a really fine actor who I know from the FX show SONS OF ANARCHY. For a big guy(and this sucker's huge) Hurst has more range than you'd expect, but of course for this role, you don't need much. The kurgen is suppose be this huge unstoppable force, who feeds on cruelty and is just plain evil. Hurst would fit this role like a glove, and i'd love to see it.

Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez

Demián Bichir
Ramírez was born Tak-Ne in Egypt in 896 BC, and became Immortal after being run down by an out-of-control cart in the streets of his city. The fearful populace, upon learning of this, banished him, and he began to wander the world, encountering many other Immortals, good and evil alike, Among the most powerful of all the Immortals on Earth was The Kurgan ,whom Tak Ne battled a number of times throughout early history, including encounters in Babylonia, Greece, and ancient China, including the Battle of Plataea, where he fought under the Spartans, and managed to shatter the Kurgan's blade. By 1541, he was living in Spain, working as the Chief Metallurgist to King Charles V under the name Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez. He sought out the Highlander, Connor MacLeod, and took him under his wing, teaching him the rules of the Immortals.
Demián is a Mexican actor whose success with the movie A BETTER LIFE and the FX show THE BRIDGE. Bichir is a terrific actor whose career I've been happy to see grow over the years, in my opinion he has just as much talent as Javier Barden, but that's just me. Since the last person to play Ramirez was a Scotsman with a heavy Scottish accent, i'd say Bachir is a significant step up.

Sunda Kastagir

Mekhi Phifer
Kastagir is the best friend of Connor Macleod and is a fellow immortal. After the two men share a night of partying one last time, Kastagir and The Kurgan then duel in an alley, and Kastagir is defeated.
Let's face it, the role of Sunda is a very minor one, but i like it, and if a reboot ever got off the ground, i'd really like his role to be expanded and explored further.
Mekhi Phifer is one of my favorite actors and i think he is sorely underused in Hollywood. He hasn't been in much lately, actually i think the last thing i saw him is was in the series TORCHWOOD:MIRACLE DAY, but hey he's still young and i'd think he'd really fit this role.

Brenda Wyatt

Ginnifer Goodwin
Brenda Wyatt is a forensic scientist and is an expert in the field of swords. After finding pieces of an ancient sword at a crime scene and then witnessing Macleod and The Kurgen in a battle, she then finds herself swept in the middle of fight between two immortal warriors.
Goodwin is an actress who people might know best from her role on ONCE UPON A TIME. To be honest Goodwin has never been one of my "favorite" actresses, but for this role i think she fits. She looks smart to be a forensic scientist, and she just looks like the type of girl who will nag the hell out of you for answers she has no rights to.

Heather MacLeod

Jenna-Louise Colman
Daughter to a blacksmith named Angus MacDonald, Heather married Connor MacLeod in 1537.One night, while Connor was absent, she witnessed Ramirez's death at the hands of another Immortal, The Kurgan. After the Quickening, The Kurgan raped Heather but she kept this a secret from Connor. She sometimes suffered because she grew older while Connor did not, she died in 1590.
Jenna-Louise Colman, I just LOVE her, i want her to be my wife, but unfortunately that won't happen. Not gonna i'm crying on the inside..........ANYway, Coleman is such a grest actress who many of know as The Doctor's latest companion Clara Oswald on the show DOCTOR WHO. I chose Jenna because she just seems so sweet and so genuine, i could totally see a guy like Connor, who'd had so much heartache in his life up to that point, find solace in a girl like her. I really like her for Heather.

Rachel Ellenstein

Fionnula Flanagan
Born in 1936 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands to Jewish parents, she was rescued from the Nazis by Connor MacLeod in 1943. Connor adopted her and raised her as his own daughter. Later in life, she became his friend, confidante and business partner in Connor's antiques store in New York.
Fionnula Flanagan is a fine Irish actress whose been in a lot of films over the years including YES MAN, and FOUR BROTHERS. Much like the role of Sunda, Rachel is very minor character within the world of HIGHLANDER, but is very important and if rebooted i'd very much like to see her character expanded.

#SPECIAL BONUS CHARACTER

Duncan MacLeod

Manu Bennet
Duncan MacLeod Is a fellow immortal and was also a member of the clan Macleod. After being brought home fatally wounded in battle, dies in front of his father, and awakens with his wounds completely healed. Because his family believes his resurrection is a sign of witchcraft, he is cast out from his clan after being disowned by his adoptive father. when Connor MacLeod returned to Scotland in 1625,and met Duncan, a fellow Immortal from the same clan, but nearly 75 years younger. He became Duncan's mentor, and took him under his wing. Their relationship, over the hundreds of years they shared, grew and evolved from a father-son relationship to a brother-to-brother friendship.
Originally i wasn't gonna do this, but i loved the show too damn much not to. Though not a perfect show HIGHLANDER:THE SERIES was entertaining as hell and the character of Duncan was just sooooooo cool.
Manu Bennet is a hell of an actor who we all know from STARZ' SPARTUCUS and as DEATHSTROKE in the CW'S ARROW, and he is just badass. I don't when it was, but a while ago when i was Bennet in an interview i thought to myself "Wow, this guy reminds me of Adrien Paul". I realize most people might find the casting odd, since Bennet looks significantly older than Cumberbatch even though he's supposed to be younger, but hey, what he hell. The great thing about immortality is that it doesn't matter how old you look, A guy who looks fifteen could in reality be seventy and be the dad of a normal looking forty year old.

And how could i end this thing without a little QUEEN.
