HIGHLANDER REMAKE/REBOOT FANCAST

Hello comicbookmovie people as my username already suggest I am a Highlander fan and after hearing news about a Highlander I was more than just excited because well the sequels were AWFULL!!I will also write some ideas about the remake

So I made this fan cast for the upcoming remake

Note: I wont cast characters like Kastagir, Fasil ,Rachel,Moran or Bedsoe because they are not in the remake

MAX IRONS AS CONNOR MCLEOD:Connor Mcleod of the clan Mcleod killed in battle in the hills of Scotland 1536 came back from the dead and was forced to leave his village. Now I know that most people want Thomas Jane[Really I like the guy but he is like 43 if memory serves] because he looks like Lambert but that's silly story wise Connor is at least at his 20s when he becomes Immortal so having a 43 year old dude to play a 20 something Immortal that is just plain wrong. Man Irons is an upcoming actor with films such as Red Riding Hood The Host Vivaldi and a small role in Dorian Gray Irons has the looks and I believe the acting capabilities to convince us that he can do Connor Mcleod



DANIEL CUDMORE AS THE KURGAN: The Kurgan an Immortal like Mcleod and Ramirez one of the most powerful Immortals in THE GAME he is the perfect warrior as described by Ramirez he is ruthless and will stop at nothing to claim the prize.Played brilliantly by the ever awesome Clancy Brown I was scratching my head as to who should play him in the remake. Rumors had it Vinnie Jones to be the Kurgan but thank God that's not true.But it hitted me when I rewatched Xmen 2 and Xmen the last stand. Daniel Cudmore has starred in films like Xmen 2 Xmen 3 The Last Stand and in the Twilight franchise as Felix but the thing which impressed me when I googled him is that he is also a stunt perfomer now besides that the guy is buffed up and huge.


ASTRID BERGES FRISBEY AS HEATHER MCLEOD: Past love of Connor and the reason why he is afraid to love again. Heather in the original died of old age with Connor at her side afterwards when Connor buried her he promised her that he would light a candle at her birthday in the years to come. Astrid Berges Frisbey has starred in her first major film POTC:At Worlds End playing the mermaid Syrena now as an actress I havent seen much of her work but from what I have seen at world's end she could do the part justice



AMANDA SEYFRIED AS BRENDA WYATT: Brenda is the present love interest of Connor at the original she is working at the forensics and she gets tangled in the eternal fight of the Immortals when she finds pieces of the metal from the Katana Connor uses. Now Amanda Seyfried she is one hell of an actress with films like IN TIME CHLOE MAMMA MIA she is my choice for Connor's hope in the eternal fight of The Immortals. Plus she smooking hot as the pic suggest!!!!



ARNOLD VOSLOO AS JUAN SANCHEZ VILLALOBOS RAMIREZ: Connor's first teacher he is the one who explains the rules of The Game and he dies by the hands of The Kurgan and rapes Heather in the process. Ramirez was played perfectly by Sir Sean Connery the character has to be mysterious and tha't why I chose Arnold ''Imhotep'' Vosloo. Vosloo has starred in the direct to video sequels of Darkman , THE MUMMY AND THE MUMMY RETURNS and as Zartan in the G I JOE films. I beleive Vosloo can bring the mystery to the character and match up to Connery's performance.

IDEAS FOR THE REMAKE/REBOOT: Have some background for The Kurgan it would be interesting they made a comic explaining his originis the movie should show us his first kill. Have Connor and The Kurgan fight other Immortals imagine The Bourne Identity with swords.In the first draft of the remake Ramirez in the end is revealed to be alive and well [Although he gets killed halfway through the movie] have Ramirez appear in front of Brenda and Brenda is revealed to be an undercover FOR THE WATCHERS!!![A cool element in the series should be present in the reboot] Have Kurgan kill Ramirez and rape Heather in front of Connor eyes and Connor not able to do a thing. That would make it a more renvenge plot moment for Connor since he made him Immortal and all.The film MUST delve deeper into the world of Immortals
