Hello people, im here to tell everyone who is interested how i would make a Spider-Man movie. Lets start off with the story. (Note: this is the basic story, im not going to go into huge detail, mainly a synoposis). After the death of his Uncle Ben, peter has begun his crime fighting life as Spider-Man trying to discover who he is. However a new villain named Mysterio has surfaced and challenges peter on who he is and why he does what he does. Now i know what your all thinking,why pick mysterio for his first villian? Most people decide to have him as a side villian. However,I see things differently,when you think about it done right Mysterio could be a very cool and threatining villian,lets think about this, lets say we put mysterios illusions to a slightly higher level then in the comics,well through the course of the movie,maybe at the half way point Mysterio would discover who Spider-Man is,and using his illusionary tricks makes peter think that his uncle never died to try to get peter out of the way. For a while we could see the connection that uncle ben and peter share.Then of course when peter discovers that it was all an illusion by mysterio ist could crush him,almost driving him insane.Then the final battle could come along and Mysterio could constintly throw illusions at Spider-Man still making Spider-Man question reality,then Spider-man could come inches into killing mysterio,but he doesnt.Mysterio is then put in jail with a Spider-Man who knows excactly who he is and knows excactly what he is doing.With mysterio you could have a lot of very imaginative imagery making it very fun to watch.Now thats the main plot, lets look at the cast.
Cast-(note some of my choices have already been picked)
Peter Parker/Spider-Man: Andrew Garfield
Now I am picking Andrew for one reasons, The main one being not only does he look excaclty like peter parker he is acting excaclty like peter parker,you can tell that just from the trailer,now unless he acts completly different for the rest of the movie then he will be the perfect parker.
Mysterio/Quentin Beck-Jackie Earle Hayley
I havent seen anybody think this,which really suprises me,I dont see how you people couldnt see this actor playing this character, for one, one of the reasons quentin beck became mysterio was because he wasnt "preety" enough for the camera, now jackie can look preety [frick]ed up some times especially in watchmen and A nightmare on elm street,he has also played mentally unstable people and it just seems like he would nail mysterios obbesession with getting Spider-Man.
Gwen Stacy- Emma Stone
Once again, i know that this has already been cast,but i cant see anyone else playing the role other then emma stone, she can play nice and sweet,like gwen should be,but she doesnt play them insanly bland like most actresses do.
Harry Osborn-Drake Bell
Now I know that this seems like a strange choice,not only for the fact that he has usually played the person who gets the girls,but he is also playing Spider-Man in the new series Ultimate Spider-Man.But ive seen a good chunk of his work, he could play the wimpy kid who cant get any friends aside from peter,the kid with no confidence,it would definitly be an improvement over james franco who in my opinion played the character more like a playboy.
Uncle Ben-Cliff Robertson (I know he is dead, but this is how i would do it if i had things my way)
I think this is the one casting choice everyone agrees on me with,When we saw Cliff robertson on screen as uncle ben we all knew he would do the role justice, and he did, to me Cliff robertson is Uncle Ben,and unless Martin Sheen can proove me wrong in "The Amazing Spider-Man" then you cant change my opinion that this man was the character on unlce ben.
Now that ive given my two cents what do you think? Should I make changes to the casting? But what i want to know most of all, what did you think of the story, list of what you think in the comments. Thanks for reading, and I hope to see what other people would do
