Oracle – Gemma Arterton
Oracle (Barbara Gordon) — formerly known as Batgirl, she is the primary leadership force of the Birds of Prey. She was paralyzed from the waist down as a result of an ambush by the Joker. She is the founder and mastermind of the team, possessing a sprawling information network, a photographic memory, and expert hacking and programming skills. Oracle is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a master in weaponry, though she is rarely shown winning a physical fight.

Arterton won her first professional role (in Stephen Poliakoff's Capturing Mary) while she was still at drama school. Similarly, she made her stage debut as Rosaline in Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre, London in July 2007 before graduating later that year.[7] She made her film debut in the 2007 St Trinian's movie St Trinian's as Head Girl Kelly, a role she gained in competition with Sienna Miller.[1]
In 2008, she appeared in the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.[8] Chosen from around 1500 candidates, Arterton plays Bond Girl "Strawberry Fields", in what is described as a "nice-sized role".[9][10] In 2008 also, she played the role of Elizabeth Bennet in the ITV serialLost in Austen, albeit a reduced role from the original Pride & Prejudice.
She is the face of Avon's Bond Girl 007 fragrance which launched in October 2008. Having already started in a series of low-key adverts for cosmetics company Avon, in May 2008 Arterton requested a role opposite model Kate Moss for Rimmel, but was blocked on contractual terms under her Avon contract.[11]
In 2010, she made her West End debut in the UK premiere of The Little Dog Laughed.[12] She was originally attached to star in a new adaptation of Wuthering Heights[13] as Catherine Earnshaw, however, she later left the project.[14] She is set to star in Burden of Desire.[15]
Arterton was seen in the 2010 films Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and will next appear in Tamara Drewe[16], being released on September 10, 2010 in the UK.

Barbara and Dinah are best friends (Barbara having helped Dinah through low periods in Dinah's life) and form the nucleus of the team. Katie made several appearances in TV series, such as "7th Heaven" (1996) and "Sex, Love & Secrets" (2005), among others. She had to wear gigantic boobs in the small role of Samantha, the grown-up daughter of Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale in the comedy Click (2006/I). After the release of a teen horror film, When a Stranger Calls (2006), in which she co-starred as Tiffany, Cassidy went to Vancouver to work on her second horror film, Black Christmas (2006), in which she stars as a sorority girl. Katie recently beat out the likes of Jessica Simpson and Kristin Cavallari for the leading role opposite John Travolta as his daughter and the heir to the most powerful energy company in the world in Dallas (2012), the big-screen remake of the cult TV series.

Tonkin's first television appearance was on the Australian teen show H2O: Just Add Water, where she plays one of the main characters, Cleo Sertori. While not a strong swimmer, she worked to improve her abilities during pre-production of the show. On 20 October 2007, Tonkin appeared on the Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Awards, where she presented the award for best band alongside H2O co-stars Claire Holt and Cariba Heine.

Misfit – Miranda Cosgrove
Misfit (Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe) — teenage orphan with teleportation powers, her persistent appearances (first as a wannabe Batgirl and then as Misfit) are initially a nuissance to Oracle, although Barbara's attitude gradually softens. After Barbara discovers her homelessness and personal tragedy, she formally invites her to become a member of the Birds.

Miranda Cosgrove was born on the day of May 14, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents did not know their daughter was going to be a star but she was discovered at a young age singing and dancing around a table in a restaurant. An agent saw her talent and quickly signed her. Miranda did several commercials like ones for Burger King, McDonalds, and more. But she also auditioned for many roles and finally got one that would be just the beginning of a wonderful career. She made it, out of 1,000s of kids her age, the role of the band's manager in the hit 4-star movie, The School of Rock (2003). While filming The School of Rock (2003) in New York, she was informed that her pilot "Drake & Josh" (2004) had been picked up. She got the role of Drake and Josh's little sister on the new hit Nick show. Miranda also did voice-over work for the children's movie, Here Comes Peter Cottontail: The Movie (2005) (V) and starred in Yours, Mine and Ours
