Synopsis
The series follows two characters: Koko Hekmatyar, a young arms dealer who sells weapons under HCLI, an international shipping corporation that secretly deals in the arms trade, and Jonah; a her personal bodyguard who formerly was an oppressed child soldier, unmatched in wits during battle and, marksmanship.
Over the course of the show, it is seen how Koko does what she does along her Tony Stark-ish way, and yet doesn't lose her soul, and how little Jonah is trying to re-find his soul he feels he lost on the battle field as a little child.
NOW to the casting.
For the character of Koko Heymatyer, female albino arms dealer, and heiress to the Heymatyer empire, I choose Jena Malone from Sucker Punch, Hunger Games Catching fire, and the Hatefields and the Mccoys.
Jena is an extraordinary actress with great range, and I can definitely see her filling the shoes of this smart and eccentric as hell arms dealer.
For Jonah, the former child soldier, I choose Jaden Smith, his performances have yielded me to think he can convey the withdrawn yet lethal force that is Jonah.
For Koko's sniper, Lehn, I choose Ray Stevenson from Book of Eli, Punisher Warzone, and JasonxFreddy.
For Valment(Sophia Velmer), Ex-Finnish Rapid deployment force officer, and now weapons specialist and knife fighter for Koko's Squad, I choose Gina Carano.
She is a MMA fighter, stunt woman and actress, famous for Haywire, Fast and the Furious movies, and a hopeful for the role of Wonder-Woman.
She has the toned body and fighting expertise to give an authentic performance to the character of Valment.
For Lutz, former German police sniper, now gunman for Koko's squad, I choose Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy and Pacific Rim.
For Mao, the family man of the group, and artillery officer, I choose Will Yun Lee from Total Recall, Hawaii 5-0, and The Wolverine.
For "Wiley"(William Nelson), the demolitions officer of Koko's group, I choose Roger R. Cross from 24, Arrow, Xmen-2, and Mad Money.
He's a former Delta Squad member in the United States military and a genius where it comes to explosives, hence the name like the Coyote from the cartoon, only of course, his plans work and his bombs do their job, "No road runners are getting away today."
If there's an actor who can pull off this cool headed, cool son of a gun it's Roger.
For Tojo, Japanese intelligence officer and Koko member of Koko's unit, I choose Daniel Henney from Xmen Origins: Wolverine,
For the former Bersaglieri intelligence officer, now a member of Koko's squad known as R, I choose Brant Daughtery from Army Wives and Pretty Little Liars. His characters has more twists and turns as the Season goes which cause you to put certain truths in question, I'm fairly certain that Brant can bring that aspect of R to life.
For the chief of the Europe Division of the CIA, George "Bookman" Black, I choose Brian Howe from Gran Torino, Pursuit of Happyness, Journeyman, Justified, and Deja Vu. Bookman is the spear header of a CIA project to monitor and somewhat undermine Koko's operation, he's powerful man behind the desk, and equally smart, yet not overly intimidating and very simple. However the decisions he makes can be very foundation shaking, and he does so without batting an eye for the greater good.
Brian Howe can CERTAINLY carry that reserve and professional almost sociopathic nature to the screen.
For the very annoying, very loud, and very 'Merican!!! CIA Agent, Jerry Scatzberg, known as SCARECROW, I choose none other then Tom fricking Cruise.
He's the CIA man chasing Koko around, along with various suspected terrorist groups, or black market dealers internationally like an competent and obnoxious inspector Clouseau pursuing the pink panther.
He has very little pity for anyone going against "America's interests" and even for the circumstance of little Jonah for his involvement with Koko.
There was really no one else i could think of who could portray the guy the way that Cruise could.
For the lovely yet cold Chiquita, I choose Russian actress, Ogla Kurylenko from Quantom of Solace, and Oblivion.
Chiquita is Lehm's ex-wife, and dangerous with any weapon she's given. She is the head of HCLI's bodyguard detail for their member, Kasper. Her boss is often conducting very brutal and heartless transactions, of which she seems to have no problems in seeing through. Ogla Kurylenko has the physical and fighting expertise, as well as acting and air to put on as a convincing Chiquita.
And now for the shows more or less antagonist, or at any rate darker shade, character, Kasper Hekmatyar, Koko's older brother and member of HCLI's Asian Logistics Division and is responsible for recruiting Jonah to serve as Koko's bodyguard in Jonah's "Traumatic" past to say the least. He is crafty, ruthless and extremely resourceful.
For him I choose Nicolas Hoult, he's an extraordinary English actor, known for About a Boy, X-men:First Class, and recently Warm Bodies. He's always had that odd quality of being a character you can either peg right away, and play it well, or the character you can never quite peg at being good or evil or not...and still play it well.
I know he'd be a good rival for Jena Malone in the role.
That's what I have for right now, you owe me your soul, hope you like.
