Justice League/DC Editorials in GENERAL

I think we need to stop with these DC Editorials, seriously and I am not alone on this.

Editorial Opinion

This is for everyone. I don't mind everybody posting ideas for what they feel can be a good or great idea towards something. But when all the editorials about Justice League that I see pop on this site now are two things that really put a brake on "GIVING A SHIT" on the editorials section. To everyone who feels that they have a way to DC's movies or how they can do better please for all that is holy...STOP IT! All the ideas that everyone comes up here about the DC Cinematic Universe always begin with HOW THEY SHOULD DO IT, and a list of movies that should be made before Justice League. Like what do you get out of this? What is so darn good about your idea when all you are doing is creating a list similar to what Marvel is doing, and what is more shocking is that MARVEL fans or Avengers bandwagon people are writing these.

If you are not a DC fan then why bother. Your idea is not good at all when you are in no doubt doing the same thing Marvel is doing. It's not worthy of recognition, WB is not going to contact you, we are not going to start a petition for your ideas, and we sure as hell really don't care. We all can say what we want YES but this whole DC/Justice League movie ideas editorials NEED TO STOP. This is exactly why you are not in Hollywood doing the movie and they are. And why is everyone getting mad about this? Like who cares what people will think your going in the movie for yourself not others. You obviously do not know the many rides and theme parks that DC are in right now compared to Marvel only having 2. Visited by hundreds and millions of people worldwide. Besides, didn't everyone wanna see Avengers so bad and now the big pay-off is over. DC could still bank off spin-off films its just in reversal, either way we have no idea about their plan.

So to everyone with their ideas, please do not put it in the editorial section which is easily one of the more popular sections here. The editorials make no sense when you talk about Justice League or how it should be. No copying Marvel is not how it should be, no releasing phases and separate films before Justice League is NOT how it should be. Again this is why you don't work for Hollywood and they do. When a trailer comes out or just small details on what to expect for the movie when it comes out, is when you should start worrying. For now, just sit back, wait and find something else to criticize and complain about.

I don't think it would be that bad if there was actually anything different or original being said. All anyone seems to be doing is their own DC version of the Marvel movie model. If all you're doing is rehashing what's been said too many times as it is, why bother? If someone had something different and original, then it would be worth the time. Just because Marvel did it one way, doesn't make it the only way.

I think people should submit articles as they see fit. It's up to the editor to decide which ones to post, right? Perhaps, 95% of them should be filtered out.

I gotta say, I agree with this editorial. Could have been a little more eloquent, but I definitely agree; There are entirely too many of those "editorials," and I haven't seen one that I was really impressed by.

I don't even read them anymore...for this same exact reason. Everyone puts a list of solo films which are, surprise, surprise, Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, Flash and Green Lantern. Then Justice LEague.

wow, very original...

ITs not even the fact that they are copying Marvel. Thats fine with me because it obviously works.

Its that everyone that makes these articles says the same damn thing.

Get your head out of your arse, Soto. I don't know about everyone else, but I am under no delushions I can out do Warner Bros/DC. But to keep your bitching and "kill yourself" crap at bay, lemme rephrase what I said. This is what I really mean: what I would LIKE to see from the DC Cinematic Universe.

Notice the key word there? LIKE. So if you're not a fan of DC you can't post what you want? Bullshit. People can put up what they want, share with people what they want to see.

So it shouldn't be in phases? Is this fact now? No, opinion. I've seen big DC fans all across YouTube and the internet say using the phases idea and shared Universe is the best option. Even Marvel themselves seem fine with the idea of DC using the phases.

It's all opinion. What you say is not law. Anyway, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'll continue with the editorials of what I would LIKE (Key word there, Soto; LIKE) from the DC Cinematic Universe, whether Soto likes it or not.

Is that your best response? You remind me of some prick on YouTube. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you are him. Oh, and how about addressing my points, instead of coming up with some half arsed response.

How is this new? The editorial section is always like this. One editorial comes up about a subject then millions of others pop up. I suggest you and who ever else don't like it get used to it cause I doubt it'll change just because you don't like it.

We do you get worked up so much about people giving their ideas? Yes, people have created many Justice League/DCCU editorials before, yes you may disagree with the shared Universe stuff. And? Everyone's ideas are a little different. Ever consider there are people who are interested in these editorials?

You don't like them, don't read them. Are they physically hurting you in any shape or form? Also, please stop with the "you'll never be a Hollywood director" stuff. I wasn't aware I gave any indication I even wanted to be a director in Hollywood, but whatever.

On a site like this everyone has a right to post their opinions. That is the basis of the site.

In my opinion there should be no dccu. Don't bandwagon the path that MARVEL has trailblazed, especially after one of your prime representatives (Geoff Johns) publicly scorned the idea and glorified the whole separate universes concept with the claim of dc's characters being 'bigger' than MARVEL's (yeah right!...exhibit A --> Green Lantern).

Hm. He has a point regarding Green Lantern. From what I gather, the Sinestro Corps War is a larger than life arc, therefore requiring more than 1 film if adapted. There are many good reasons to keep it all isolated, but I still personally think they can do a shared Universe and make it awesome.
