With all the buzz about "The Avengers", I got to thinking about who would be my choices for actors and characters to appear in a Justice League movie. Click the jump to check them out

Batman/Bruce Wayne: Christian Bale



Green Lantern/Hal Jordan: Chris Pine



The Flash/Barry Allen: Ryan Gosling



Wonder Woman/Diana of Themiscyra

Jessica Biel because she's 5'8", can hit 6 foot in heels, and can clearly get bulked up and muscular


OR Rosario Dawson


OR Serinda Swan


Aquaman/Orin/Arthur Curry: Bradley Cooper



Martian Manhunter/J'Onn J'Onzz: Peter Mensah



Lex Luthor: Billy Zane



Darkseid: Michael Clarke Duncan (even if they only use his voice on a CG body)




What do you guys think? What would you change or alter?

Good post mate... Bale probably wouldn't do it, so I'd go with Sam Witwer for Bruce / Bats... I'd also keep Ryan Reynolds as GL for continuity reasons. I agree with Serinda Swan for WW, and Ryan Gosling for the Flash, but I'm not sure I'd go with Bradley Cooper as Aquaman... He deserves a bigger / better character in my opinion. Would you attempt to recast the Joker and team him up with Lex? If so, what do you think of Adrian Brody or Crispin Glover?

When I saw Cavill for you Supes pick I knew the Bale for Batman was coming. Serinda Swan for Wonder Woman and that's about it. DC has no other good heros (in my opinion.) Gosling is a back pick for Flash, I don't like Pine as Lantern, I find it insulting to pick Bradley Cooper for Aquaman because if he were to do a CBM, he wouldn't go for a crappy character like that. The rest is good although MCD would never do a DC film because he made his stamp in the CBM world as Kingpin in DD.

I like your picks. It is a good fan cast because they are all top tier actors, which also means it probably would not be able to occur. The only pick of yours that I do not like is Billy Zane. Does he look spot on for Lex, yes. Can he act, not so much. For Lex I would go with Jeffrey Donovan...



And since Bale is done with Batman (even though he would be my top choice as well) I am suggesting Sam Worthington to your list for Bruce Wayne.



I also like Serinda as wonder woman.

Not bad. But since Bale will most likely not be Batman after TDKR, I'd cast someone else (Jim Caviezel would be my top choice).
Also, I'd have Reynolds come back as Green Lantern, and Chris Pine is my pick for Flash.

As for others, I'd go with Gina Carano as Wonder Woman, Alexander Skarsgard as Aquaman, Doug Jones/Jeffrey Wright as Martian Manhunter, Jeremy Irons as Darkseid and Jon Hamm as Lex Luthor.

Out of your three Wonder Woman picks, I'd Biel, even though she's my pick for Hawkgirl. I'm not too keen on your picks for Aquaman, Lex Luthor, and Darkseid. Cooper doesn't really fit Aquaman, he's better as Guy Gardner. I prefer Kevin McKidd as Aquaman Zane isn't that great of an actor and there are a lot of better picks for Luthor (I like Jon Hamm in the role). Darkseid is suppose to be the god of all evil and I don't get that vibe from MCD. I'd go with Michael Ironside since he's had experience voicing him on Superman: The Animated Series. But good effort anyway. I have to admit that we have the same picks for Green Lantern and Superman.

Superman: I am excited to see what Cavill does with Superman, but I think if DC does a Justice League movie it will be with a rebooted cast.I would cast owain Yeoman, he has the size and I think he could pull off the awkward Clark Kent too.

Batman: Bale is great as Batman but, my choice is Jeffrey Donovan for a reboot.

Green Lantern: Chris Pine is a good choice for
Hal but I like Geoff Stultz for the role better.

Flash: Gosling is a good actor and could work as Barry Allen.

Wonder Woman: Jessica Biel and Rosario Dawson have been my favorite choices for WW for a few years, either one would be great.

Aquaman: I would cast Kevin McKidd. Bradley Cooper isn't right for this role.

Martian Manhunter: Peter Mensah is a great choice for J'onn, I also like Colin Salmon.

Lex Luthor: I don't like Billy Zane. I think this is a role that fits Bradley Cooper, or Timothy Olyphant.

Darksied: MCD has a great voice but I think Arnold Vosloo would be better.

i'd prefer have Green Arrow over Aquaman in a justice league movie.

Cavill is perfect.

I would go with James Caviezel as Batman. He would be great Bats and older too. Thats what Batman needs.

Pine and Gosling are great. Both would nail the characters.

Jaimie Alexander would be my choice as WW. Biel and Dawson just doesnt strike.

Philip Winchester (Strike Back, Crusoe) would be my choice as Aquaman (the long haired version). He would be perfect.

Mensah would own Martian Manhunter. Great choice.

Michael Fassbender or Guy Pearce would be perfect Lex Luthor. Zane would nail the character i dont doubt that but i think Pearce and Fassbender would bring the character something new. They are a much better actors.

For Darkseid i would let Michael Ironside play him. If they make Darkseid in the style of Loki´s father Laufey (who was played perfectly by Colm Feore) Ironside would own the character!:)

Great Job!. But, don't judge Ryan Reynolds poorly because of GL. He MUST be in the JLA movie- just needs a better writer. He would have been a better Flash then GL, but the chips have fallen the way they have. He has to stay in. And anyone with a shaved head can play Luthor. So, let's find a good actor. Phillip Seymour Hoffman? He'd also be a great Penguin. But, I say go big!

nice picks but I also have been thinking who would make a better and here it is:
1)henry cavill as superman (duh!!)2)gabriel macht as batman ( check him out on his tv show SUITS looks like a bruce wayne 3)chris pine as green lantern (you had it right) 4) jason dohring or jensen ackles as the flash ( everyone keeps puttin' ryan gosling's name in this cast- he is not doing it not with a ten foot pole give it up)5)I like serinda swan as wonder woman I also like to nominate gal gadot in that role 6) stephen arnel as green arrow (he's already set to star on the tv show why not put him in the movie) 7)kellan lutz as aquaman ( we don't need top celebrity stars like bradley cooper in this mix ,if the avengers movie teaches us is that the real stars are the characters not the people who play them)8) joe manganiello as hawkman 9)yvonne strahovski as black canary and 10) amber heard as supergirl ( we need more women in it ) 11) lance gross as cyborg and 12) peter mensah as the martian manhunter that's is a good choice you picked

I am SOOOOOOO glad you didn't cast Matt Fox, Bradley Cooper, or Patrick Wilson as Flash!
I still like Ryan Reynolds as Hal but I like Chris Pine a lot too.
I don't know about about Billy Zane but I'm cool with it.
Over all, great cast!
