So, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 is going to come out soon, and I was wondering what game, or franchise, would come next. I thought of one of my favorite series, Lord of the Rings. A lot of people want this to happen, so I figured, "Why not post my ideas"? So lets get started:

Stories and levels: These will focus on the main trilogy, It will focus on the movie versions as well.

The Fellowship of the Ring: Levels will include: A Long Expected Party: Where Frodo and Gandalf make their way through Bilbo's party, and the four hobbits flee the Shire.
Strider: Where The hobbits meet Strider, flee to Amon-Sul, and fight the RingWraiths.
The Mines of Moria: The entire Fellowship, enter Moria, make their way through, and fight the orcs and cave troll.
Galadriel: The Fellowship fights the Balrog, and a cutscene follows. After, Frodo and Galadriel run through the woods to the Mirror of Galadriel.
and The Great River: Frodo and Sam ride down the river to Mordor, and Strider, Gimli, and Legolas fight wave after wave of Uruk-Hai.

The Two Towers: Levels will include: Rohan: Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas go through the woods, meet Gandalf the White, and must fight the king's guards.
The Old Woods: Merry and Pippin meet TreeBeard, and make their way to Saruman's tower.
The Dead Marshes: Frodo and Sam meet Gollum, and he joins the quest. The characters go through the Dead Marshes, where zombified bodies can attack.
Helms Deep: Aragorn, The King of Rohan, and a warrior fight in a RTS battle, like in LEGO Star Wars:The Clone Wars, at Helms Deep.
and Faramir's Fortress: Frodo and Sam enter Faramir's base, and must save Gollum. After, Faramir and the trio fight a RTS battle.

The Return of the King: Levels will include: Into Minis Tirath: Gandalf and Pippin must make their way to the steward, to tell him to defend the great city.
Fall of Faramir: Another RTS level, where Faramir and a warrior fight in their base.
The Cave of the Dead: Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas enter The Cave of the Dead, and must face the King of the Dead and his warriors.
Gollum's Trap: Frodo and Sam must face off against Shelob in her lair.
Battle for Middle-Earth: Aragorn, Gandalf, Pippin, and Eowyn fight in a RTS battle, and must defeat the Witch-King.
Mount Doom: Frodo and Sam must fight Orcs, Goblins, and Uruk-Hai, defeat Gollum, and destroy the Ring.

Characters:
Frodo
Sam
Merry
Pippin
Gandalf the Grey
Gandalf the White
Sauron
Saruman
Gollum
Bilbo
Witch King
Aragorn
Gimli
Legolas
Elrond
Arwen

Rohan Warrior
Gondor Warrior
Orc
Goblin
Uruk-Hai
TreeBeard
Cave Troll
Mountain Troll
Valley Troll
Elf
Dwarf
King of Rohan
Steward of Gondor
King of the Dead

Special abilities:

Characters like Frodo (small) can crawl through crawl spaces.
Characters like Aragorn (sword-weilding) can put their swords into levers, causing a panel to open, or some other reaction.
Characters like Elrond (elves) can speak Elvish, to open special doors.
Characters like Frodo (ring-wielding) can use the Ring to become invisible, so enemies can't see you.
Characters like TreeBeard (giant) are strong, and can knock down walls of multicolored LEGO bricks.
Characters like the King of the Dead (ghost) can pass through glowing green walls.
Characters like Gandalf (wizard) can light fires and move special bricks.
Characters like Sauron (evil) can destroy red objects.

Hub:

The main hub is Frodo's home in Bag End. From there you can purchase upgrades, hints, build levels, and look at basic character info. You can also go to to a larger hub, like in Indiana Jones 2, each based off a movie in the trilogy. You can access places in each Movie. In the Fellowship hub, you can go to the Shire, Bree, Moria, etc. You can also access bonus levels in the hub areas.

Collectibles:

Minikit = A Ring (10 per level)
Red Brick = The One Ring (1 per level)
Character Token (3 per level)

Well, that's the game. Far from perfect, I know. So, do you like it? Any improvements? Post them in the comments!

Question of the article: What franchise do you want to be turned into LEGO?

Is it official that Lord Of The Rings will be the next Lego game? I hope so.

I want Lego Avengers have each of their movies:
1) Captain America
2) Iron Man
3) Thor
4) Incredible Hulk
5) Iron Man 2

Be their own story then Avengers in the end.

@BooYah, yea but have the 5 movies and Avengers be in one big story. Then have the 3 others be Cap and Tony co-op, Hulk and Thor co-op, and Hawkeye and Widow co-op. The villain for C+T would be Titanium Man. H+T would be Loki (his return). H+W would be perhaps the skrull? And in a last secret door, you play as all of them against Thanos.
