Before I begin, my vision for the trilogy would have a male Shepard, Ashley as the main love interest, Kaidan would die on virmire, he would remain loyal to her, and Shepard would save the Council at the end of the first movie.
Commander Shepard
1. Matthew Fox as Commander Shepard: The obvious coice and possibly the best choice. He has the right look and charisma, and should be fairly easy to higher, but might be too old now.
2. Channing Tatum as Commander Shepard: Okay, so he has not really shown himself to be a good actor at all, with G.I. Joe being a very prominent fail, but he looks just like him and if my sisters are any inidcations, he could definitely bring in the female audience, something a studio really want.
3. Sam Wothington as Commander Shepard: I don't know if he has the charisma, but he has passable looks and is establishing himself as a leading man, so that's a good point in his favor.
Logan Marshall-Green as Commander Shepard: I have not seen him in anything but the Prometheus advertising, but if he impressed Ridley Scott enough to have a leading role, he could potentially impress studios enough to play Shepard.
5. Michael Fassbender as Commander Shepard: Not as sure about him, but he is definitely a powerful actor. I think he may be better suited for Garrus, however, which I will address later.
Ashley Williams
1. Olivia Wilde as Ashley Williams: She was awesome in Tron and Cowboys & Aliens, and would be able to play both sides of Ashley fairly well.
2. Evangeline Lily as Ashley Williams: I really liked her in Real Steel and thought while I was watching it that she would be perfect for Ashley. Also, she has worked with Matthew Fox before on LOST, so that could work if they were cast.
3. Adrianne Palicki as Ashley Williams: She looks set to own in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and if she owns as Lady Jaye, she will own as Ashley. Also, working with Channing Tatum could help her if he is cast as Shepard.
4. Jamie Alexander as Ashley Williams: She pulled off Sif and I am interested to see how she could pull off Ashley.
Kaidan Alenko
1. Cilian Murphy as Kaidan Alenko: Honestly, I don't care about Kaidan at all, which is why he would be sacrificed. But, he could pull off the sensitive, disturbed Kaidan.
2. Josh Hutcherson as Kaidan Alenko: I know he is too young right now, but when the movie is finally made he will probably be older. And if he is old enough, then hje would be perfect. When I saw The Hunger Games, I could tell from his performance of Peeta that he would be perfect for Kaidan if he were a little older.
Garrus Vakarian
1. Doug Jones as Garrus Vakarian: He is used to giving great performances while under prosthetics, which is essential.
2. Michael Fassbender as Garrus Vakarian: His personality is perfect for Garrus, and I hope his performance in Prometheus will help him get the role because I think he would own as everyone's favorite Turian.
Liara T’Soni
1. Gemma Arterton as Liara T'Soni: She has an amazing voice for Liara, and I hope she can look just as awesome in blu make-up.
2. Evan Rachel Wood as Liara T'Soni: I have not actually seen her in anything, but a couple friends of mine have said she would be good and she definitely looked the part.
3. Lynn Collins as Liara T'Soni: All throughout John Carter, I kept feeling like I was watching her play Liara. Just saying.
Tali’Zorah nar Rayya
1. Amanda Seyfried as Tali: She is in pretty much everything these days, and she seems to be able to perform this type of character, and my sister is convinced she can pull if off.
Lyndsy Fonseca as Tali: I have really enjoyed her performance in Nikita and she seems well-equiped to handle Tali's character growth.
3. Ashley Greene as Tali: The main downside is that we won't see her in this movie, but that might empower her perfromance to be more subtly sexy. I watched one of the Twilight movies with my sister, and her portrayal of Alice seemed to me to allow her to handle Tali wonderfully.
Urdnot Wrex
Michael Clarke Duncan as Urdnot Wrex: He was one of the best parts of Green Lantern with Kilowog, and Wrex is basically Mass Effect's answer to Kilowog and Worf.
Captain/Councilor/Admiral Anderson
1. Keith David as Captain/Councilor/Admiral Anderson: He voices the character and could bring the ecessary qualities to the role wothout the price tag of a more well-known actor.
2. Laurence Fishburne as Captain/Councilor/Admiral Anderson: Fishburne is awesome. 'Nuff said.
Jeff “Joker” Moreau
Seth Green as Jeff "Joker" Moreau: Uh, duh?
Donnel Udina
John Slattery as Donnel Udina: I saw him on a previous fancast, and I hate Udina so I didn't feel like putting too much effort into casting.
Matriarch Benezia
Michelle Pfeiffer: See her in Stardust and you will know what I mean.
Saren Arterius
1. Jeremy Irons as Saren Arterius: His voice is a perfect match for Saren and he is always great at playing villains.
2. Hugo Weaving as Saren Arterius: Agent Smith=Saren
Miranda Lawson
Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson: She is Miranda, and is more than capable at acting in a movie and filling out that suit.
Jacob Taylor
Laz Alonso as Jacob Taylor: He was good in Avatar and Jacob requires basically no effort anyways.
Grunt
1. Jason Momoa as Grunt: He has the looks and shortness of Grunt, as shown in Conan.
2. Brian Steele as Grunt: He always plays movie monsters and wears prosthetics, so why not?
Mordin Solus
Steve Buscemi as Mordin Solus: He should also play every Salarian in the movies. He is the bery model of a scientist Salarian.
Thane Krios
1. Willem Dafoe as Thane Krios: He is used to playing green aliens and knows how to show emotion through his movements, and his voive is amazing.
2. Doug Jones as Thane Krios: He was Abe Sapien. Isn't that reason enough?
Jack
1. Rooney Mara as Jack: She looks the part and I've only heard good things about her, so hopefully she can make Jack more sympathetic.
2. Katee Sackhoff as Jack: She was good in Battlestar Galactica and would probably be pretty easy to hire as Jack.
Samara
Diane Lane as Samara: She is one of the older actresses who has some real power to her, as she proved in Secretariat.
Legion
Alan Tudyk as Legion: He was really great as a robot with a soul in I, Robot, so I am interested in what he could do with Legion.
EDI
Tricia Helfer as EDI: She already voices the character, and really nailed it.
The Illusive Man
1. Martin Sheen as The Illusive Man- He voiced him superbly, and he looks like the character, but he is getting older and starting to gain some weight.
2. Bruce Greenwood as The Illusive Man: he is a really underrated actor, and I think he would do a really good job at portraying all the complexities of him.
3. Liam Neeson as The Illusive Man: Of course, you could always hire a superstar. But he could do the character justice.
Dr. Chakwas
Meryl Streep as Dr. Chakwas: When I played through the games, she is the only one I thought of for the part.
Kelly Chambers
1. Larisa Oleynik as Kelly Chambers: She was good in Hawaii Five-0 and seems to be upbeat enough to play Kelly.
2. Autumn Reeser as Kelly Chambers: Her energy is infectious and she is beautiful enough to play Kelly.
James Vega
Joe Manganiello as James Vega: He looks the part and has good timing for James odd sense of humor, so he could be a better James than Freddie Prinze, Jr.
Javik
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Javik: Javik has an interesting accent and is also capable of playing the whole proud warrior thing, so I think he can pull it off.
Specialist Traynor
Freida Pinto as Specialist Traynor: Honestly, she is the only actress I could think of. I'm sure there is a better option and I am open to suggestions.
Diana Allers
Jessica Chobot as Diana Allers: She isn't that much of a character, but including her could be a fun thing to add in for fans.
Kai Leng
Lee Byung-Hun as Kai Leng: He was good as Storm Shadow, so if he replicates that with Kai Leng, then he is all good.
Admiral Hackett
1. Lance Henriksen as Admiral Hackett: He already voiced the character and has such a grand histroy with sc-fi, so there you go.
2. Bruce Boxleitner as Admiral Hackett: He has an awesome voice and is no stranger to the sci-fi commander thing (Babylon 5, anyone?).
3. Dennis Quaid as Admiral Hackett: Maybe he can be a better commanding officer in this than he was in G.I. Joe.
4. William Hurt as Admiral Hackett: He was good as General Ross in The Incredible Hulk, but Lost in Soace has still left a bad taste in my mouth, so I don't know.
Sam Elliot as Admiral Hackett: He has such an awesome voice and presence, and nailed General Ross in Hulk.
Well, there you go. Let me know what you think in the comments.
