Thank you dude. I really don't like when people say "all reboot suck!" yet we have Begins, Star Trek, Casino Royale, etc to show people just how fantatic reboot can be.

Now, in light of that, I know that not all reboot re good ideas. Some franchises have no need for a reboot, some have a desperate requirement for them. It all depends on the particular franchise that is the subject of the debate, I firmly believe that you can't group all reboots together, in a good standpoint or a negative one.

Whoa! Big pics! I could be wrong (I don 't pretend to be all knowing) but TMNT wasn't really a reboot. It was a continuation from the live-action series.

As for James Bond/Casino Royale...that can be argued both ways- some feel it was a re-boot, others consider it to be a continuation. I think of it as a much needed re-boot. After the last several Bond films, it was sorely necessary to make some changes. Definitly a good move.

The makers of Casino Royale have said in interviews that it's a reboot.

But yeah, War Zone, haven't seen it, but it looked like a huge pile of dino sh*t.

Though TMNT can be argued both ways, sequel or reboot. I liked the movie either way.

I think TMNT went under the radar. I thought it was a great film. The others on the above list are all great films too.

Yeah, I thought TMNT was overall pretty good, and great at times. The CGI was fantastic, the voice acting was great, and the action was also really great. The only part I felt it was a bit lacking in was the plot, it was a bit thin IMO, but it wasn't bad.

Yeah, definitely. I was expecting complete garbage, so maybe that made a big difference. As weird as it sounds, one of the things that stood out most to me was the musical score. I thought it was incredible.

Oh yeah, the music was very good too. Forgot about that.

IMO I don't think TMNT is a reboot. I mean, it is more of a sequel. A reboot should re-introduce the characters. Moreover, it should have been a live-action film rather than complete CGI.

yea the music was great

tmnt was a decent sequel, I think I'd put it at a tie with the 3rd.
I think in the next tmnt they should do a crossover with Usagi Yojimbo. He was a great character on his own but his tmnt teams ups were amazing.

TMNT is a comicbookmovie. The turtles started out in a comic book. just letting u know bro.

Warzone is beyond awful. I don't think there is a word in the English dictionary that can describe how bad that movie was. (@Multi, sorry, i couldn't help it)

Nice shout out to hulk, batman, and star trek. (never was much for bond)

Yeah these were all good reboots, I agree though TMNT was not a reboot, a sequel if anything. Also, I have to say, I think Star Trek destroys Batman Begins, but that's just me. The action in Begins was pretty bad, the camera was incredibly too close for comfort, I could barely tell what was happening in any fight scene.

By the way, Lee, what makes TMNT horrible CGI? I'm interested in knowing what parts of the movie show cased the worst CGI. I thought it was pretty damn amazing, I'm a trained artist, I know these things.
