I have been writing a fan-Avengers story myself, and thought about the opening of the film. And came up with the idea to have an opening title sequence similar to Incredible Hulk's opening. And have that sequence be the original opening for future Avengers sequels to come.
From my Avengers Story...
Immediately after the sequence, with Thor being the last hero shown, We see nothing by pitch black upon the screen. But we hear a voice.(Loki) He says..
“All these apparent Heroes are defined as Earth’s Mightiest. But, some think otherwise."
The screen lights up, as we are in a chamber-like room. We see a globe, with Loki's hands surrounding it. The globe shows Yggdrasil, which is a huge ash tree whose roots and branches hold the earth and Asgard , and the other 7 worlds.
Loki continues...
"Where there’s a hero, there’s those that endorse in creating them, as high as the heavens, and as low as the Hell. labeled as Criminals, Bad-guys, and my personal favorite, Mischief-makers. Left locked away, abiding in the shadows of death. Oh, but Soon there shall come a day unlike any other, where thy heroes shall be Avenged.” (laughs)
Then as he laughs, we zoom drastically into the globe, and we are in space. Zooming down to earth.
To Be Continued
(I know this pic is horrible, but it's just an idea of what of talking about.)
Regarding the video
I just have clips from Iron Man 1 & 2, and The Incredible Hulk obviously because Thor & Captain America films are still in production. But you should get the main idea. I put a lot of work into getting the right sequences and the right music.
