My Fan Avengers Opening Sequence Idea - Video

Hey folks. Check out this 3 min. video, with arrangement of clips that gives you the basic idea of my idea for the opening sequence to The Avengers 2012.

I have been writing a fan-Avengers story myself, and thought about the opening of the film. And came up with the idea to have an opening title sequence similar to Incredible Hulk's opening. And have that sequence be the original opening for future Avengers sequels to come.

From my Avengers Story...
Immediately after the sequence, with Thor being the last hero shown, We see nothing by pitch black upon the screen. But we hear a voice.(Loki) He says..

“All these apparent Heroes are defined as Earth’s Mightiest. But, some think otherwise."

The screen lights up, as we are in a chamber-like room. We see a globe, with Loki's hands surrounding it. The globe shows Yggdrasil, which is a huge ash tree whose roots and branches hold the earth and Asgard , and the other 7 worlds.

Loki continues...
"Where there’s a hero, there’s those that endorse in creating them, as high as the heavens, and as low as the Hell. labeled as Criminals, Bad-guys, and my personal favorite, Mischief-makers. Left locked away, abiding in the shadows of death. Oh, but Soon there shall come a day unlike any other, where thy heroes shall be Avenged.” (laughs)

Then as he laughs, we zoom drastically into the globe, and we are in space. Zooming down to earth.

To Be Continued

(I know this pic is horrible, but it's just an idea of what of talking about.)

Regarding the video

I just have clips from Iron Man 1 & 2, and The Incredible Hulk obviously because Thor & Captain America films are still in production. But you should get the main idea. I put a lot of work into getting the right sequences and the right music.

Credits go to...

Paramount Pictures - For Iron Man & Iron Man 2 clips

Universal Pictures - The Incredible Hulk clips

Walt Disney Records - Music - James Newton - Across The Desert.
This song is originally from Disney's Dinosaur.

All the editing and arrangements of the clips were done me, Marvel-Freshman

a little cliche for my taste but i see what you're going for and i can respect that :) i can tell how hard it is to make a believable world out of superheroes! lol
I think that if you showed less of the Hulk as the Hulk and more of Bruce Banner, and kinda the same with everyone else, you could a more realistic story. the anticipation dies a little when you reveal the characters right away. I kinda want a slow reveal of all the actors. like dramatic camera pans and stuff lol
All in all, very nice, man. Keep em coming! :)
P.S. idk if you have any action figures or even know how to use stop-motion anything like that but maybe try to make a primative story outline with action figures. It would help us see where you're going with it. kinda like storyboarding it.
sorry i wrote alot lol and not all of it seems positive, but i think you can do better and i'm eager to see it! :)

you have a good concept, but i think the loki thing would be used in thor and though the concept of the opening sequence is good, it is a bit long and i would change some of the shots that you used

Thanks to all the opinions

@ManOfIron That really makes me think differently. The anticipation of the presence of each Avenger would be kinda of.

To handle this, I thought about the idea of Having the entire sequence be from SHIELD's view. You know, Looking at the back of Nick Fury as he looks at a giant monitor showing really short glimpses of each Avenger. Not totally revealing as much as I did in my sequence. It would be shorter I suppose.

Nice, I can see you put a lot of hard work into this and me like! ;)

Somehow it reminds me of the intro in Watchmen, kind of the same princip - to show the characters and quickly estabilish them for the average moviegoer. I like it, keep 'em coming...

@MarvelFreshman, Absolutely! :) and yes, something like that wolverinept. Like have Fury going over dossiers and profiles. Maybe referencing Hulk by having someone helping Fury say, "No way! That guy is a loose cannon!" Then Fury says something like "He's got it under control." or "You let me handle the details."
I think having just the names would be best. no pics of the team. save that for their reveals. Idk. something like that. Glad you see where i'm coming from. I didn't want to seem harsh. I wasn't trying to be lol :)
