My versions of the opening, closing, and after credits of Captain America.

This is how I picture some of Captain America's scenes going. I'm basing this off of trailer footage, and how I feel it would make the best sense overall, including if you don't have prior knowledge of how things work out.

Opening Scene:

We begin in a snowy ice field. A group of Shield agent's (much like the trailer) find their way to a submerged portion of an aircraft. The agents move closer and closer into the craft, following the anomaly on their scanners. Nick Fury is overseeing the operation from the Helicarrier's bridge, which from the view outside of the windows, is currently right outside of New York.

The camera pans over a vaulted room, which lays in the center of the aircraft. Many of the lowest floors are frozen and under ice, due to the harsh environment. The Shield agents continue to report their surroundings. One agent notices a long tube like structure, that seems to lead to the upper levels of the craft, possibly even outside of the craft. The beginning section of the tube has burn marks, indicating this housed a missle, or an escape aircraft*.

The Shield agents return their attention to the closed room, where their scanners are still reacting to. Frozen, the door is quickly breached open, much like the way someone in the Army is trained for, only, without opposition on the other side of the door. A bright light is emitting from the room, as the scanners start to go off the charts. The cosmic cube lays on a small platform, frozen over, still emitting power. The Shield agents carefully pack up the cube, and proceed to exit. An Agent, notices his heat scanner is picking up what looks like a body, directly below them. This confuses the group; there's no way someone's body would be producing heat out, especially somewhere that seems to be submerged underwater. Nick Fury, over hearing the op, tells them to find a way down there, in a tone that says 'I knew about this the whole time.'

Cutting through the floor, (as per Trailer, we see them entering through the ceiling, though this could be just how they enter the bomber), The Agents come down, and each share a starling sight. A man, frozen, with a red white and blue shield frozen above him. Nick Fury interjects, "Bring him home, we have work to do."

The Shield agents carefully remove his body, as we see his eye lids slightly crack open.

Screen goes black. Screen comes back to the World War 2 era.

*In the trailer, at some point if you slow it down, you see what looks like a smaller mini-jet, high above the golden clouds, as if it was launched from the giant bomber (which we only ever see either in the hanger or flying with golden sun filled clouds behind it), I believe this might be the Red Skull escaping.*

The Ending Scene:

This first portion is told from Cap's point of view.
The screen is white. A faint buzzing can heard, along with voices. The field of view becomes a tiny bit clearer, we see the cieling, moving fast, along with silhouettes of people looking over him, moving as fast as the ceiling.

The Camera pans out, now out of his point of view, to show Steve being transported on some sort of incubator through a corridor of what looks like a hospital. The incubator is SLOWLY melting the ice, so that he doesn't accidentally go into shock when he is fully thawed.

"How the hell is he still alive?", "We cannot lose him people!", "My grand-dad used to serve under him!" and other such worries are tossed around the doctors. Finally he's delivered into a room, where more doctors await. Steve's eyes begin to move, ever so slightly, but the doctors do not notice. As he's hooked up, his heart rate begins to climb, worrying the doctors. Steve's fingers twitch, slowing making a fist. The camera pulls to his face, which begins to ever so slightly move. Cap is shown confused- not afraid, but taking in his surroundings. One of the doctors has the last name 'Steiner' (or insert German name here) on his nametag. Steve's eyes begin to widen. The monitor beeps rapidly as his heart rate soars. "Doctor?!" a nurse screams. Steve's arms move, stiff, but very much alive, as he rips open the incubator. Pushing a few docotors that tried to restrain him, off, Steve makes it for the door. He is in too much shock to notice that he's no longer in his costume, but a very modern white shirt and brown pants have been put on him, while he was thawing.

Much like Thor who defeated every guard on his way to his hammer, Captain quickly escapes the hospital, leaving a few guards knocked out. He runs, and keeps running, which lands him to times square. That's when it hits him. He's in New York. The sights, sounds, the past all seem to crowd his brain as hard as it is to take in. Black SUV's pull up around Cap, surrounding him, with crowds of onlookers watching the action. Nick Fury walks out of one car, and Agent Coulson with a brief case from another car. Over his radio, Fury is told the perimeter is secure.

"Steve Rogers," Fury smiles, "I know this is a lot for you to take in, but we're the good guys here."

"What's going on?" Steve replies

"Look around you, we won the war." Fury motions to Coulson. Lugging the brief case, Coulson opens it, revealing (Cap's shield? Costume?). Fury continues, "We've achieved so much since the war, and you'll be caugh up to speed soon enough."

Steve looks confused, "What's happening, I thought you said we won?"

Nick Fury extends his hand out, "Yes, but a soldier's duty is never finished"

Steve reaches out, and shakes Nick's hand.

Screen goes black. End.

After credits idea: This literally picks up moments after Captain America joins Fury in one of the SUV's. The camera follows Steve into the car where Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow are waiting for them. Clint and Natasha are in the very back seat, Nick and Steve the middle, and a driver up front. They're driving back towards a helicopter, to take them to the helicarrier. Nick pulls out a cell phone and makes a call. Tony stark picks up on the other end.

"Stark, make sure you wear your nicest suit, we've got a lot to debrief our guest on."

Tony's voice: "Nick- (Camera cuts to Tony in the Helicarrier's lab) - I hope you realize I'm working on a portal to help Selvig bring back your little Thunder God with this Cube"

"I realize that, but right now Captain America is our priority"

(camera study's Tony's face) Tony looks shocked. He drops the phone and walks out the room both excited and anxious. This was his dad's friend after all.

The Camera pulls around to Selvig, the normal Selvig, as Loki walks up to him.

"Now, lets finish this portal, we've got a ton of guests coming by, and we don't want to keep them waiting." Cue Loki's evil grin.

Also if you think about it, it makes sense that the Shield agents were looking for the Cube (or the Cube AND Cap). In the trailer, they aren't wearing normal snow suits, but what looks like radiation suits. Maybe they don't know what kind of energy the Cube emits, but they're taking extra caution.

Damn that would be sweet but I doubt they will have all those characters just for an after the credits scene. I'd be happy with just Fury and Iron Man.
