Name: Arkham
The film takes place a year after Two-Face's accident. He is planning a huge plot to get his revenge on Gotham, along with his mob, the Riddler (who is shown in his cancer stages), and Bane. However, Batman finds out his plan from the Joker, who was sent to Arkham after being interigated.
Two-Face, after being confronted, reviels that this was part of his master plan. He then has Bane take Batman to the center of Arkham Asylum, so he wouldn't interfear with his plan, which takes place in a day. The Riddler has created Arkham into a maze, with each room containing a villain that Batman has previously defeated and put in prision. The Riddler has also provided Batman with a riddle, which reads "Two men are about to be shot to death. One is a good, honest cop. The other a criminal. If they both escape, which one will be exactly the way they used to be?" and a handgun with only one bullet.
The cops have been occupied with the task of getting back into the prission, meanwhile, with each enterance covered by a computer with a passcode lock, the code being the answer to another riddle. Gordon, along with Dick Grayson as Nightwing, are confused by the riddle, and must hurry to get in before Two-Face's plot unfolds.
Using his intellect and training, Batman defeats each villain, such as the Mad Hatter, Scarecrow, Jean-Paul Valley, Killer Croc, Man-Bat, and Poison Ivy, with his greatest challenge being Man-Bat. Two-Face has been watching tentatively, and starting to worry because Batman has reached the 2nd to last room, which contains the Joker. After flipping his coin, Two-Face sends in Bane to stall Batman for the last hour in the case Batman defeats the Joker.
The Joker proves to be the most grusome apponent Batman has eccountered, esecially after faceing many criminals. The Joker, armed with a shot gun, mortally wounds Batman, then starts mocking him by retelling the story of Jason Todd's death, which angers Batman to the point of beating the Joker to the brink of death. The only thing stopping Batman from shooting the Joker, is the Joker's smile, which makes Batman realize that hes just being stalled. After this, Batman moves on to the final room, with the next room containing Two-Face. Batman defeats Bane by disapearing into the shadows, and forcing him into the previous room.
Gordon and Nightwing narrowly solve the riddle in time, to get into the prision, which contains a dying Riddler on machines and with his computer, which shows how he's been manipulating the prision the entire time, making it impossible for them to lock all the criminals back up without getting killed. They then take him to the hospital.
Batman reaches Two-Face, who reveals that his plot the entire time wasn't to get revenge on Gotham, but on his exfiance, whom his coin deemed must die. Batman looks on Two-Face's computer, which shows her appartment and a timer, which runs out before Two-Face can stop it, blowing up the apartment building. Batman then takes out the gun given to him in the begining of the film, and is about to shoot Two-Face for making him fail. But then Batman realizes the answer to the riddle, and allows the police to arrest Two-Face.
Batman visits the Riddler in the hospital, who asks Batman if he has learned anything. Batman answers by saying that the criminal will escape being the same as before, because he escapes by killing the shooter, and thus won't have to change. That is why Batman didn't kill Two-Face, because if he kills his shooter, he will now be no better than a criminal.
The film ends with Vicki Vale getting a visit from Bruce Wayne, who hasn't been seen at all during the film. As an extra easter egg, Vale is revieled as researching events that have been going on in the Amazon (Wonder Woman).
