WEAPON 11 Verses Deadpool

The fans may think both characters are the same thing and thusly hate Weapon 11; because Deadpool [in continuity] doesn't have his abilities/closed mouth]
But the truth is in the strange and similarly flawed continuity of the X-Men movies it actually makes sense. Weapon 11 is a completely new/original character that is a pool of many different powers with our famed Deadpool as the host. A unique plot to a cliche ridden film. All that aside, its important to understand this is a strange way to introduce his disfigurement.
Some of the complaints against Wade's bullet cutting physics lesson are unfounded; truthfully Wade is the Freak-a-zoid of the Marvel Universe he breaks all rules scientific and common but is not immortal...though we've been wrong about that as well.
In my opinion Ryan brings so much to the character and is even homaged in the comics; although his portrayal of 11 overshadows his cameo mention in the comics.

IS THERE HOPE?

Lets all agree that the X-Men comics are about as solid in continuity as a glass of water. Do you hear that? Matter of fact the entire Marvel universe is convoluted and over written without a clear ending in mind; with re-occurring cop outs such as "Everyone is a Skrull."

The movie universes for comic book, anime, cartoon, and pop culture literature movie adaptations have been thrashed with hate from fans for not completely following the material. On the contrary, some films have been hailed for doing the same thing. Lets diverge our attention to the Scott Pilgrim movie. Why did it work for most viewers?
The common answer is that is closely followed the source material, but honestly so much was changed that it became cool and no one cared, but even that isn't true. The Dark Knight completely changed solid facts about the universe but most say it was really good even earning its own universe of continuity in other media called the Nolanverse. Its because an Adaptation is exactly that. It starts over with a single story as imagined by someone else, instanced to be completely different from the source material while giving the audience something familiar to get all nasal about. Although it hurts to say; even the DB:Evolution movie is an acceptable adaptation but a horrid film. Which is the defining win or fail between them. Everything needs a story.

So is there hope for the X-men holey universe. As The trilogy and single spin-off leave us ended. Yes. A re-imagined beginning, X-Men First Class. I have high hopes it will reset a new universe of continuity that we will enjoy. Along with Amazing Spider-man bringing fresh stories though both reshuffling the facts to fit a story. Thus is Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. Some fans have movie blinders on, deeming to [frick] every reboot and CBM but who cares about them. These films need good story/good EFX/good acting period.

SO WHAT IS WEAPON 11 GOING TO DO NE-

Weapon 11 was suspected to come back to life with supposed original powers (though who can say exactly what Wade's limits and desires are) and return to life as Deadpool. Weapon 11 was confirmed to be dismissed in the next film called Deadpool and reinvent his origin, including Cable and Ryan Reynolds. So what does that mean for the already established X-moviverse? The same for the comics. A new beginning.
