Needless to say, David Ayer's take didn't go very well(I was even fairly supportive of his take on the characters), but I will gladly take the loss on Mr.Ayer's movie. So, here are 5 people for your consideration(who can probably make a better movie)

Interesting choices. I'm a fan of Michael K Williams and Guy Pierce and think they would bring a lot to the DCEU and Suicide Squad with the right story. Apparently I am a Christopher McQuarrie as well and didn't realize it.

Would you add them to the current roster or replace some members? Good picks all around (though a lot of fans seems to cast Captain Cold and Heatwave together). Hope you share some plot points/ideas too.

@mtwiggs - Thanks for reading. And I've never been as big on Heatwave as Captain Cold. I'd probably add them to the current roster. I absolutely love McQuarrie's work. I only have a skeletal idea: Watch SS 1, and do the opposite.

I like the idea of a Michael Mann comic movie, as Heat is great and show were the others you listed.

Looking forward to Carnahans Bad Boys 4 Life, and he would be great as well.

Good picks for the actors.

Michael Kenneth Williams is awesome, but I don't envision him as Black Manta. Also, I would rather Black Manta not be in the Squad.

Your actor picks are decent though. Not the usual suspects.

@JaredRWebb12 - I thought I read somewhere that Black Manta was going to be in the new Aquaman movie... I know Ocean Master is in it, but I really hope Black Manta is at least introduced. He's one of my favorite villains, amd aside from Young Justice, he doesn't really get much love beyond the comics.

Btw... They did a great job with him on Young Justice. I can't wait for that show to return. One of the best versions of comic books animated or live.

@MrDmitri - Tim Miller is pretty good-even though I'd rather have him for Flash- where he can show off his visual effects expertise more than Deadpool ever could
