NOTE: THIS FAN CAST IS A PART OF MY DC CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. WHEN YOU READ THIS IMAGINE THAT NO OTHER CBM HAS EVER BEEN MADE OUTSIDE OF THIS DCCU. THEREFORE ANY RECAST OF CHARACTERS OR THE CASTING OF ACTORS THAT ARE PLAYING OTHER CBM CHARACTERS IN REAL LIFE SHOULD NOT BE COMPLAINED ABOUT. Thank you!
(this movie is also in no way shape or form in relation to the Zack Snyder Man of Steel movie)
THE MOVIE
THE DIRECTOR
Duncan Jones would be a great choice for a Superman film. If you watch the trailers for
Moon and
Source Code you know that he is a great director. Moon looks great and he supposedly had a low budget for that. Imagine what he could do with a big budget!
THE TONE
I think the tone should be somewhere in between
All Star Superman and
Man of Steel. All Star Superman is a lighter toned story, more 70’s Superman, yet still at a level acceptable in modern day. Man of Steel is also a modern day take yet still darker. I wanted it to be somewhere in between.
THE WRITERS
Grant Morrison and Mark Waid. These two people have written some of my favorite Superman stories. All Star Superman and Superman: Birthright. They both know superman and can ground him in modern day.
SUPERMAN
Character Design:
New 52 or Injustice.
Character Influence:
All Star Superman, Man of Steel.
In the first Superman movie in my DC Cinematic Universe (
Man of Tomorrow) Superman was more cocky and arrogant. In my DCCU’s Justice League film he was less cocky and arrogant, yet still cocky and arrogant in some ways. In this movie, he is more experienced and the people don’t see him as a threat, but a protector. To satisfy the people, he becomes more of a “hero” perse. So now he’s more like the Superman featured in Grant Morrison’s
All Star Superman.
LEX LUTHOR
Character Influence:
All Star Superman, Superman: The Animated Series
Lex Luthor is the man behind the madness in this movie, but no one knows it. Not even Superman for the majority of the film. One thing I want to be shown in this film that wasn’t in the others is that, Lex is evil. Lex’s motivation is always
KILL SUPERMAN!!! It should be
Be in complete control of the world. Superman is just the bump in the road. Or should I say giant 100 foot wide cliff parting the two roads. If you haven’t read or seen All Star Superman, pick it up right now and make sure you carefully read every word that comes out of Lex’s mouth. He is the evil side of Lex Luthor that he needs. Lex from Superman: TAS is the business man, suave side of Lex.
Here is a link to various pictures of LL in All Star Superman. Look at the ones where Lex is speaking. That’s the Lex I want
METALLO
Character Design:
Terminators, Superman Batman: Public Enemies.
Metallo like 75% of the villains in this movie is made in effect of the accident at LexCorp Labs (which will be touched on later). Unlike Rudy Jones and Leslie Willis who gained abilities from the accident, John Corben was fatally injured. Too fix him they gave him a metallic exoskeleton and enhanced strength, speed, durability, agility and senses. They then gave him a masking device that hid is horrendous appearance from the naked eye and he looked like his normal self. He later has internal heart problems from the experiment and they take his brain in place it in a full body exoskeleton robot that is powered by kryptonite. It can also shoot kryptonite rays out of its hands.
PARASITE
Character Design:
Young Justice
Rudy Jones was a janitor for star labs. Even though he was bigger than most of the kids at school he’d be bullied. He continued to be the victim of bullying throughout his adult life, until he found out about the experiment at LexCorp labs. He volunteered to become a superman soldier. When the accident happened tons of chemicals fell on him and the explosion caused them to react which turned him into a purple monster. He absorbs the energy of every living thing he touches. Despite Rudy’s appearance, he still stayed loyal to Luthor and did what he was assigned to do. Kill Superman.
LIVEWIRE
Leslie Willis was a radio DJ. She was a major music influence. If she liked you, you raised to the top of the charts. If she didn’t like you, you fell way down. While Zod was ruling over Metropolis he went around destroying things which resulted in Leslie’s sister’s death. Ever since then, Leslie blamed Superman for the death, since he wasn’t there to save her. She repeatedly black balled him on the radio all the time. Superman’s popularity began to rise after forming the Justice League and Leslie’s went down, so far down that her boss laid her off. Leslie blamed Superman for this as well. When she heard about the Superman Soldier experiment she volunteered. When the accident happened chemicals fell on Leslie covering her whole body and she was electrocuted. This resulted in her having blue hair that sticks on end. Snow white skin and the ability to externally manipulate electricity (along with electric and magnetic fields), and conjure lightning blasts of various intensities and lengths. She was ready to take on Superman.
THE PLOT

Superman is the new hero in Metropolis. He is loved by almost everyone in the city. Lex Luthor doesn’t like that. Lex feels that Metropolis is his city and Superman needs to be stopped. Luthor looks up Superman and all he could find were poorly taken videos of him saving the day. Luthor also stumbles upon a few articles of Superman being interviewed by Lois Lane, who he coincidentally has a flirtatious relationship with, the result of many interviews between themselves. Luthor brings Lois to his office. He asks her what she knew about Superman. She basically reiterates what was in her articles. Luthor suddenly gets dark and serious. Luthor tells Lois that the military has found on their radars ships approaching earth. He says that they were all similar to the ones boarded by General Zod and his army. He asks her if she knows any of his weaknesses or anything that could help against the fight with the Kryptonians who Superman may be working with. Lois says she doesn’t. Luthor tells her to find out. She refuses, but then Lex threatens her. Lois gives in.
Lois asks Superman for another interview. Superman agrees. Lois asks very deep and personal questions. Superman takes her to the fortress of solitude. The Jor-El hologram tells them everything about Kryptons history related to earth. He tells them about how ancient Kryptonians came to earth and gained various abilities. The humans praised them as gods. The Olympian gods were all Kryptonians. He told them about how they came with multiple rock samples from Krypton that they would attend to use to build a new Krypton on earth. When they received their powers they realized that the rocks they brought along would take their powers away, so they buried the rocks all across the world so that they could keep their powers. Jor-El also states the coordinates that they placed them at. While Jor-El told them all of this Lois was secretly recording it. After Jor-El finishes Superman takes Lois back to the daily planet. She uploads the recording to her computer and-reluctantly-emails them to Lex Luthor. Luthor starts drilling in the coordinates where the ancient Kryptonians buried the rocks. Luthor finds a vast amount of the rock which he calls Kryptonite.
He recruits 3 people to become his Superman-Soldiers. He intends to give them all battle suits powered by Kryptonite to kill Superman with. While in the lab an accident happens and there is an explosion. When the accident happened chemicals fell on Leslie Willis covering her whole body and she was electrocuted. This resulted in her having blue hair. Snow white skin and the ability to externally manipulate electricity (along with electric and magnetic fields), and conjure lightning blasts of various intensities and lengths. Tons of chemicals fell on Rudy Jones and the explosion caused them to react which turned him into a purple monster. He absorbs the energy of every living thing he touches. He also absorbs their memories and he can then shape shift into them and sound like them even. Finally John Corben the other Superman soldier is not given any powers. He is burned severely and experienced radiation from the Kryptonite. Too fix him they gave him a metallic exoskeleton and enhanced strength, speed, durability, agility and senses. They then gave him a masking device that hid is horrendous appearance from the naked eye and he looked like his normal self.
They all are sent out to kill Superman. Superman struggles to fight them all, but wins all of the battles. Livewire goes out (against Luthor’s orders) and destroys the radio station she used to work at. The police show up but she easily stops them with her powers. Superman comes to the battle and renders her unconscious. The police take her into custody. They place her hands special cuffs developed by the government for meta-humans. If any energy is released from her hands the energy is sent straight back to her. Parasite goes back out one last time to defeat Superman. Parasite ends up absorbing a giant transformer (not the robot the electrical device that transfers energy between its circuits) and is overloaded with energy. His body deforms and is reduced to a puddle of glob.
Corben begins to have heart problems due to the kryptonite radiation. With the help of STAR Lab’s Dr. T.O Morrow they put Corbens brain into a full body exo-skeleton powered by Kryptonite. The exo-skeleton has enhanced…everything and can shoot kryptonite rays out of its hands. It was equipped with a masking device that made him look like a normal human.
Metallo (Corben) goes out to kill Superman. At the beginning of the fight Superman is obviously winning. Metallo then reveals his Kryptonite chest and Superman is reduced down to the abilities of an average human. Metallo pummels Superman. Metallo picks Superman up by the neck. He throws him into the side of a building. Superman is far enough away too start regaining his powers. They come back slowly so he still isn’t at his peak condition. Metallo walks towards Superman ready to kill him. Superman picks up a manhole cover and throws it at a street light. The streetlight falls over and lands on Metallo. Metallo hits the ground so hard the Kryptonite shatters. Superman claps his hands causing a shockwave that sends Metallo flying backwards right through an alley and straight into a car on the other side of the street. Superman runs over and picks up Metallo He shoots up in the sky and throws Metallo right back down to the ground causing Metallo’s metal body to break into pieces. Superman is still loved by the people and Luthor gets away with it with nothing tracing back to him.
Just so you know a lot more happens. Well not a lot but more does happen. Everywhere that there is a paragraph break something else happens in between that I don’t need to get into. Clark and Lois do start their relationship. Lois reveals to Superman (she doesn’t know Clark and Superman are the same person yet) that she gave the info to Luthor and that she is sorry right before the battle between Metallo and Superman and more happens as well.
THE CAST
Superman-Henry Cavill
Henry Cavill is a great Superman. He could definitely play the Superman I want there to be in this movie. He played a very similar role in MOS.
Lex Luthor-Jon Hamm
I think Hamm would make a great Lex Luthor. He has the acting ability and the look (a part from his hair).
Metallo/John Corben-Johnathan Rhys Meyers
Johnathan Rhys Meyers would make a great Metallo. He has the right presence and acting ability to pull it off.
Lois Lane-Rachel McAdams
She is a great actor. After seeing her in many roles I’m convinced should be great in the role of Lois Lane.
Parasite/Rudy Jones-Adam Baldwin
Adam Baldwin has the build and presence to play Parasite. He voiced him on Young Justice and did a great job.
Livewire-Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman would make a great Livewire. Livewire is slightly insane, but that’s what what the accident would do to you. Uma Thurman could play that well.
Jor-El-Timothy Olyphant
Timothy Olyphant is a great actor. After seeing him in several movies I think he’d be a great Jor-El. When I was making this choice I was thinking about characters in movies that acted like how I want Jor-El to act. I thought about I Am Number Four and I found who I wanted. I know he’s not an old dude, but still.
Dr. T.O Morrow-Dominic Cooper
Dr. Morrow used to be a STAR Labs scientist, but transferred over to LexCorp. Dominic Cooper could make a great Dr. Morrow. This is the first name that popped in my head once I was thinking who could play him.
Martha Kent-Meryl Streep
Meryl Streep could play a very good Martha Kent. She definitely has the acting ability for it.
Perry White-Ray Wise
Ray Wise would make a great Perry White. I liked his portrayal of him in Superman: Doomsday.
Jimmy Olsen-Michael Cera
He is a great (and hilarious) actor and I think he would be great as Jimmy Olsen.
After Credits Scene
Lex Luthor is walking down a hallway with one of his leading scientist.
Luthor: You equipped it with everything I asked for?
Scientist: Yes sir. We added even more. I’m sure you’d like it sir!
Automatic doors open up as they see this…
(no ones in the suit)
Luthor: Excellent…
