Plot: It’s been 4 years since the events of Rise of the Bat. Batman has fought the mob and the freaks trying to destroy him in these past 4 years. Batman had almost stopped the mob, until a crime lord that goes by the name of Black Mask takes over organized crime from Falcone and the crime wave rises.
Batman tries to stop the crime wave from rising any further, so Black Mask sends a distraction. He hires an assassin to kill Batman. As the assassin fails multiple times a different plan is set in motion. Deadshot begins to kill important people and frames Batman. So Batman is hunted by the GCPD, Deadshot, and is still trying to stop Black Mask. Batman gives up. He doesn’t still feel he drive to do his job.
As Bruce sits in his office and has a meeting with Lucius about business collaboration with Lex Luthor, Dick (a boy that Bruce adopted 3 years before) looks around and finds the Bat-cave. After realizing Bruce is Batman, he begs Bruce to let him be his partner. Bruce says no many times. Bruce sits him down and tells him why he became Batman. Dick explains that he wanted to fight crime for the same reason, to avenge his parent’s death. Bruce tells Dick that he’ll do that for him.
Bruce puts back on the cape and cowl and protects Gotham once again. Bruce goes out every night picking up clues as to who the Grayson’s killers was. People don’t want him to know that. So hired once again is Deadshot. Now with another person after him, can Batman stop Deadshot, Black Mask and avoid the GCPD at the same time?
THE MOVIE
The Director
I think Tarantino could do a GREAT job as director. He could perfectly capture Gotham’s underworld. He won’t be anywhere near the script, so Batman wouldn’t be shooting people, and they’d be aiming for the rating to be a hard PG-13. Tarantino is an amazing director that could really do Batman justice if he stuck with the source material.
The Writers
Scott Snyder and Frank Miller, these are the two greatest Batman writers in history. These 2 together would make a great script. Maybe it could be overseen by Bruce Timm! That would be amazing!
The Tone
I say the tone should be similar to the Scott Snyder new 52 Batman comics. Its dark enough and has it’s lighter moments.
The Score
I think along with the classical theatrical score there should be songs of all sorts of genres that accompany the films soundtrack. Go on iTunes and looks at the soundtracks for Django Unchained and The Great Gatsby. The songs are awesome and they fit the movie perfectly. Songs I’d like to see in the movie are
Sin City (John Legend, Teyana Taylor, CyHi Da Prince, Malik Yusef & Travis Scott), 100$ Bill (Jay-Z), Murder to Excellence & No Church in the Wild (Jay-Z and Kanye West). Those songs are all below.
THE CAST
Batman-Sam Witwer
I think Sam Witwer has the right presence for Batman. He can look Menacing and is a good actor. He has the right build as well. I feel that Batman needs to sound different from Bruce Wayne. Witwer could easily change into a more menacing voice. If you don’t believe me about the voice check out his role in Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Others Considered: Matt Bomer
Black Mask-Sean Penn
I chose Sean Penn as Black Mask based off of his role in Gangster Squad. Sean Penn is a phenomenal actor who could easily pull off the role of Black Mask.
Others Considered: Leo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Guy Pearce
Robin (Dick Grayson)-Leo Howard
Leo Howard is a talented young actor that’s 15 years old. Not too young for Robin, but not too old either. Howard is also experienced in Martial Arts.
Others Considered: Asa Butterfield, Colin Ford, Dylan Sprayberry, and Logan Lerman.
Deadshot-Josh Stewart
I think Josh Stewart would make a great Deadshot. He has the right presence I want for him and he has experience hunting super humans (
No Ordinary Family).
Others Considered: Tom Hardy
Commissioner Gordon-Ted Levine
Ted Levine would make a great Jim Gordon. I tried to be original. I didn’t want to choose Bryan Cranston again. I was convinced because he played a similar role in the TV show
Monk.
Others Considered: Bruce Boxleitner
Alfred Pennyworth-Hugh Laurie
Hugh Laurie would make a great Alfred. I’m going for a more Earth One approach to Alfred. Hugh Laurie perfectly embodies that.
Others Considered: Sean Connery
Carmine Falcone-Robert De Niro
Robert De Niro would make an exceptional Carmine Falcone. He’s a experienced and talented veteran actor that could get the job done.
Others Considered: none
Lucius Fox-Danny Glover
Glover is a great actor that I think could play Lucius very, very well.
Vicki Vale-Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks would make a great Vicki Vale. She has the look and the acting ability to play her.
Others Considered: Amy Adams
After Credits Scene
Black Mask is thrown into a cell at Arkham and the door is closed.
Two guards stand outside the door.
“Why is Sionis at Arkham anyway? He’s not a psycho, he’s a gangster!” guard one asks.
“He started acting weird after he was arrested. So they put him here.” guard two answers.
The owner of Arkham Hugo Strange walks up to the cell. He says to the guards.
“Please move. I want to pay our new member a visit.” The guards move out the way.
Hugo Strange enters the cell and the door closes behind him.
“You managed to trick them Sionis. They actually thought you went insane.” Strange says
“It was an easy task Hugo.” Black Mask responds.
“Our plan is now set in motion” Hugo says
