I've been on this site for exactly one year now... :)
My original cast mainly comprised of actors from TV series (I’ve mentioned the actors that I previously had chosen in my info)
Goku – James Franco (this was stolen from TheOneWhoRoseUp)
I needed an actor that could portray Goku as someone comedic yet serious…
Franco has appeared in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy as well as Pineapple Express, Milk and Date Night.
I previously used Tom Welling as Goku
Vegeta – Garrett Hedlund
I needed someone that could play someone who was vicious, sadistic and brooding. I first noticed Garrett in films such as Troy and Eragon. Hedlund also appeared in Four Brothers and Death Sentence (this movie is why I picked him). His latest film Tron Legacy will be out later this year, or should I say next year…?
Ian Somerhalder was my alternate choice, as I had used him in my previous cast…
Gohan – Matt Lanter
Lanter is a pretty decent actor if you ignore Disaster Movie and Vampires Suck. Matt has appeared in Heroes and is currently playing Liam in 90210
For a younger Gohan I would go with the kid that played the young Sam Winchester in Supernatural…as long as it’s not that kid from The Last Airbender (Noah Ringer)
Bardock – Eric Bana
Bardock would only appear in the first fifteen minutes of the movie along with King Vegeta. I needed a decent actor who can do something similar to what Chris Hemsworth did in Star Trek…
In my original cast I used True Blood’s Stephen Moyer
Raditz – Joe Manganiello
Joe is currently my pick for The man of Steel. I chose him for this role because he has the built and the acting chops. Joe appears in True Blood season 3 and portrays my favorite character Alcide.
My original pick for Raditz was Jason Behr who starred in Roswell and Skinwalkers
Nappa – Nathan Jones (the brute who gets killed by Achilles in Troy)

Trunks – Taylor Kitsch
Gambit/Tim Riggins as Trunks is pretty casting in my opinion. Kitsch even resembles Garrett Hedlund (when he has brown long hair like in FNL)
My original choice was Jensen Ackles...
Brolly – Alexander Skarsgard
Skarsgard is terrific in True Blood, so I decided to cast him as the sadistic Super Saiyan.
I also considered Chris Hemsworth for this role…
King Vegeta – Mickey Rourke
Mickey Rourke would never take a cameo role like this… try imagining this!!!
